is there a guide for creating key binds i am wanting to create a bind that would associate a selected key to launching a specific power toward my target but do not know how to do that.

I was just reading over Shenanigunner's Technical Reference Guide (v3.01 - December 2020).  This one has everything.  I'm going to use it to make bind files for all my toons that need one.

The format for that is fairly straightforward.

 

/bind key "powexec_name power name"

 

The quotes aren't strictly necessary for this, but you need them if you start to add extra powers to the same bind, so it's probably a good idea to get into the habit of using them anyway.
