Does salvage disappear after so long offline?

I was away from COH for about a year due to work (now retired and back on permanently). I had started a personal SG base to hold salvage and enhancements that other alts could use to save inf. When I entered the base, the enhancements are all there, but the salvage rack is empty. The logs shows some removals by my alts, but mostly putting into it. There is no log of a wipe. Is there a clean out if offline for so long?

This may be a dumb question, but I have seen it happen.

Do you perhaps have one or more salvage racks in another part of the base that you've forgotten about?

I was gone for 700 days and nothing was gone from my base.
