I got my copy, but haven't yet taken a good look. I've seen two reviews, neither of which were favourable. Any of you get it? What do you think?

I don't like dice-pool systems, so that was a no-go for me.  Also, I love the old 80's FASERIP system, which already has a ton of supplements for it, so I've got my Marvel gaming covered.

Haven't actually played the new game (and have no incentive to do so), so I cannot give it an in-depth review.  Sorry.  🤷‍♂️

It’s bad, and can’t simulate a wide variety of classic Marvel stories. The high stat math is so that you’re encouraged to subscribe to a supporting VTT; note how front and center the Roll20 and Demiplane advertisements are. The playtest needs a lot of work, but they have a few months. I’m not optimistic.

What's most interesting to me about this game is how tepid the reception to it seems to be for such a high-profile property. The mechanics seem rather dated as if the game design was cooked up twenty years ago and hasn't been informed by any of the innovations since then. I can't imagine this game will succeed in building hype between now and the final publication. It feels like they had their chance and blew it.

It's pretty tempting to read internet casino review. With rapid development of the gaming industry, it becomes even harder to choose the right source and be certain you're treated fairly.

I'll just dig up my old Marvel Super Hero core books then, since they are all more than 20 years old. lol

Sure, they're twenty years old.  But people are still playing that game twenty years later, because it's fun.  Getting a knockback result on the universal table and smashing your opponent through three areas worth of buildings is a hoot!  😁👍

I still have my character sheets somewhere in storage, had one character that had Body Adaptation and Gravity Control (10 block radius) would shrink the radius to personal and CS her Body Adaptation to Shift X, she was so much fun.

The first edition came out in 1984. I don't think any of those books are under 30.

You know, I'm pretty sure you're right about that, now as I consider it.  How time flies!  Great game, though, regardless.
