Has anyone slotted Fire Control for damage?

Between permadom and the fact not a lot of things in this game lasts to full duration anyways I been thinking of a fire/fire dom with fire cages, flashfire, char and ring of fire slotted for damage, maybe even bonfire.

Flashfire deals next to zero damage and should be slotted with 5 absolute amazement for the set bonuses.

Firecages can be slotted with 5x Posi Blast (skipping the recharge) and a bombardment proc.

Char can take 6 dmg procs or 5 dmg procs and 6th slot a +5 apoc: dmg IO.

Why are you using Ring of Fire on a dominator?

Bonfire is a one slot wonder.

Because this idea is still not even in mids yet.  im getting real bored just thinking of anything at this point

im also throwing around the idea of a psi/psi dom and slotting dominate and mezmerize for damage to stay 99% ranged

A lot of people do slot Fire Control for damage. The basic formula:

 

• Damage procs in Char (with enough global Accuracy to cover the deficit)
• Hot Feet slotted with something that provides Dam/Acc/End Redux 
• Damage set in Fire Cages
• Pets slotted for dam/acc 
• Optional: Damage procs in Flashfire. 

 

You'll still need your secondary set, but doing that will contribute a lot of damage.

You can also put FF+recharge in it which has a pretty good proc rate, since your dropping it so much.
