Voltak
On the second day after reaching lvl 50, I decided to experiment and check how strong, how sturdy, my Nature Defender would be in a team support role. Not much better to test that than in the extremely difficult 801 challenges of City of Heroes. We do a lvl 6 extreme 801. I have zero incarnates at this time. So no level shifts, no destinies, nada. 2
Uun
Agree that Nature is very sturdy. My newest 50 is a Nature/Seismic defender (I also have a Fire/Nature controller). I haven't run 801 with him yet (he's on Torch), but he did run MoEden and soloed the Heldenjaeger Fake Nem farm at x8 (for the accolade). I notice that you don't run Entangling Aura. I find that it provides a tremendous amount of mitigation, especially if you pick up one the the epic ST holds to stack on bosses. You might want to try it out. Doomguide2005
How well would the Lockdown proc behave if slotted? Too random to hold bosses reliably? Four Basilisk and 2 Lockdown one being the proc? Depends how much Mez/Hold protection the foes possess I'd guess as to value running (and/or +10% recharge opportunity). I've got the Lockdown proc in Char (epic) and it goes off reasonably often, even with 53% recharge slotted (base recharge is 16 seconds). I tried it in Entangling Aura on my Fire/Nature controller and pulled it as it went off infrequently and more often than not tagged minions. 1 Uuniverse
Psylenz0511
I would like nature affinity more if it had some mezz protection in it like FF, sonic, and EA.
Shocktacular
I hope this character will continue to work this well after the new release (and its sonic blast tweaks). Any thoughts on that? Want more from Praetoria? Check out my level 40+ Praetoria missions in AE! I've got 3 complete arcs so far. Praetorians can get to AE in Pocket D by going through Studio 55. Entangling Aura is autohit, with a 50% chance of a 4 second mag 2 hold and 80% chance of 4 second mag 1 hold every 2 seconds. Generally, everything below a boss is held after 2 or 3 ticks. Also, it doesn't scale with enemy level so it works equally well against +4s. 1 Uuniverse

Totally useless for 801 runs and Relentless ITF and Relentless Aeon. Also, the build is EXTREMELY tight already. This toon, is for support, and I have more videos now that he has all T4s. He did 801 lvl 8. Also, the Heldenjaeger for me is easy stuff if done at -1x8, done that with almost all my toons. I imagine you mean MoEden in a team. If so, that's way way easier than 801s Vast majority of players who do Mo Eden will not run them at +4 x8 When designing this for team support on extremely challenging stuff , you do not want any stuff like entangling aura. It is a waste of power slot when something more useful TO DO your specific role. You leave the holds for the specialists. Nature defender should not be in the business of making holds in extreme challenges. Leave that for dominators and in some cases controllers. Any thoughts on that? The upcoming changes will not affect Nature defenders. At least, I don't see how. Also, in the 801 mission above, without me having any incarnates, my role was support, buff/heals, and so on. Rarely ever was my duty to blast anything and risk getting aggro on me since we had no tank in team. Did you read the developers statements and the testing done ? The net outcome is a dmg buff, and even more because now the DPA has been adjusted and increased.

But since Nature should never have any endurance issues at all , so no need for Ageless, then go for Clarion, or even better, go for Clarion Radial. Should have no mez issues with either option. At lvl 49 you have no incarnates. So incarnates are not going to do anything for you. Once you are 50 you can unlock incarnates. So what are you getting at ? But this post is about this build at 50 for these and other similar challenges. On your road to 50, you are free to use inspirations vs mez.
