Modus666 Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Radiation Infection is supposed to end and begin recharge either when deactivated or when the target is defeated. I am experiencing an issue where the power continues to show active in the trat even after the affected target it defeated, requiring it to be manually clicked to deactivate it and begin the recharge cycle.
Astralock Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 That’s not a bug. The debuff toggles were changed several years ago so that they would linger on defeated mobs for a bit, to make them more usable.
SeraphimKensai Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 As Astralock stated, the whole concept of it is to avoid someone nuking your anchor eliminating the usefulness of your debuff while there are still mobs to mop up. Otherwise how it was on live, someone could actually grief you a bit by focusing your anchor rather than the rest of the mob first. 1
City Council Booper Posted November 7, 2022 City Council Posted November 7, 2022 Those mechanics are intended. This is not a bug.

Specifically, anchored debuffs remain active until the body of a defeated anchor mob vanishes. In the case of mobs that don't leave a body when defeated, like CoT spirits, the debuff shuts off immediately on defeat.

Don't manually deactivate it unless you need to move it. As others have stated, it's still working when on a defeated mob to debuff other enemies in the area.
