She's clearly Penelope Mayhem in the trial, but you're right that G's arc is supposed to be after the trials.   I think the timeline is worse spaghetti than the code.

Isn't she both? She's Penelope Mayhem when you fight her, but she's Penelope Yin once you remove her from the Seer Network after the fight.

Yes, "evil" Praetorian Penelope Yin is Penelope Mayhem in the fight and is rescued.

I think it's a little unclear if that would be the Mayhem that was created by the G arc, or that Mayhem happened before, she gets "cured" in the trial, and then becomes Penelope Mayhem again.   I blame Ouroborus and dimensional shift.

Hero 1's 'tomb' is actually a time capsule commemorating the entire Omega Team from the Rikti War that occurred in 2002

I've seen quite a few people refer to the Riktified Honoree as 'Zombie Hero 1' or 'Undead Hero 1'. I've also heard, "If he's alive, then why do we see his ghost?"

Obviously, lack of literacy is becoming a serious issue in the English-speaking world.

So who's alive, who's dead, and perhaps even more importantly, who's at liberty [sic] and who is incarcerated? If Hero 1 is alive why does he have a tomb? What about War Witch who seems to be alive and dead simultaneously?

The answer is more or less "yes".

The game world - and its current state - are based upon the world of who has the star at any given time.

It even tells you that in-game.

One character could have experienced "Who will die?" and another has not, for example. If the character hasn't experience it yet in their "world" then it hasn't happened to them yet (even if they have seen it in another character's "world", I guess you would have to as a Mender ... one of the ones in Ouroboros, not one of those robots from Praetoria that should look like cool like the Clockwork, but look like the Visiontm without the cape instead)

"...The more corporeal War Witch found in the strange dimensional nexus of Pocket D appears to be a version from an alternate reality, though is coy about the exact specifics. The two are uncannily similar in many ways, but the most important difference seems to be that this one is... still breathing..." - wiki

Spoiler

"...She perished in a battle with Requiem in the last issue (#12) before Top Cow took over the comic book. However, even death itself cannot keep her from being a presence in Paragon City to help to train new heroes..." - wiki

"Prior to Issue 13, she seemed content with simply observing and occasionally conversing with anyone near her, but with Issue 13, she became a trainer contact." - wiki

Hero 1 should not be confused with Hero One, obviously ... hey, have different names.

"...Unfortunately, the mission seems to have cost Hero 1 his life.

Hero 1's final fate remains unknown ... " - wiki

.... as it continues ....

"... but it is assumed that he gave his life in the Rikti home dimension in order to save his beloved earth...."

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
