wRECk69
Do the powers in Kinetics (siphon speed, FS, transfusion, etc.) cause sleeping mobs to awaken? They don't do damage, but they are "attacks." Thanks! Edited May 10, 2023 by wRECk69
Uun
Yes. If you look at any of the powers on CoD, "Notify Mobs" (lower left corner) is set to "Always". Uuniverse

I have never noticed that field in CoD before! That helps me tremendously!
Psyonico
no, it will not wake a sleeping mob. it will, however, cause them to aggro (even though they are still asleep) that's what @Uun is referring to What this team needs is more Defenders

That answers my question. I was considering a secondary to pair with Mind Control, and was thinking about a set where I could sleep a mob and then SP/SS/FS myself (or a team) before blasting away. And that helps me to understand that field in CoD!

You can even fire off terrify+fireball (or maybe it was the reverse order) and they will both get containment before waking the spawn because of the delay in damage delivery. Proc'd out terrify + fireball at damage cap will do some serious damage to the spawn.
