Sup all back again. New month new request.

 

I get that prismatic Aether things are supposed to be a money sink, but

not everyone has time to farm, and

not everyone likes to farm, and

some folks don't play the market, and

Some of us (myself included) play casually, a quest here, a mission there (when I can, if I can)

Can we get a way to convert reward merits into prismatics?

I dunno what the amount of conversion should be............20 reward merits per prismatic? 25? 50? 

 

We all play differently and that's ok.

The question would be to what degree should certain rewards be exclusive.  That being said, any content that can be sold/posted to the AH will eventually make its way there, and therefore purchasable with inf.  I'm not against the idea, but I imagine the conversion rate would probably be pretty high...

I was just thinking, that it would be nice if we could set Orobouros missions to a higher difficulty and get prismatic salvage as a reward. Nothing crazy, maybe several levels of increased odds for one to drop at the end of a mission culminating in 100% guaranteed for a high enough difficulty setting.

5 merits ~ 1 million inf

The going "I want it now" rate for prismatics is a little over 4 million inf

 

That means that it should cost about 21 merits to keep the price the same

 

*HOWEVER* 

 

I believe there should be a (slight) penalty for the merit to inf ratio.  Not as bad as the Catalyst penalty (that's just way off imo) but say 30-40 merits for a prismatic seems fair to me.
