Voltak Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 (edited) Responding to my inbox, and I meant to do this a LOOONG time ago but 1) Busy 2) Mids on my Mac was out of commission 3) Further problems with new OS for Mac issues 4) Real life issues, so more busy Here, and finally Ok, so build has been tested and it passed the hard mode tests TWO (2) Star ITF , 3 man team Two (2) Star AEON, 3 man team Four Star ITF in UNDER 30 mins Three man team Market Crash , no insps, no temps, no deaths Two-Man (2) team MASTER ITF (no incarnates), no insps, no deaths, no tempsNOtes -- this build is meant to be for a bit of self sufficiency , meaning, I placed enough range defenses, resists, and recharge, to be able to not rely so much on the buffs from others if there are any gaps or downtime or team splits and other contingencies. Also meant for very small teams where you don't enjoy many buffs at all. You can use this to solo the general content of the game There are other builds with tons more procs and way more offensive and less defensive , but that's counting vastly on the team to hold you up, or they are for specialized team make ups. I am not including those here. https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1415&c=683&a=1366&f=HEX&dc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dited December 29, 2023 by Voltak 2

Both are extremely useful Destiny -- Barrier (now I have both, with Rez and without Rez) Alpha - End Modifier, Defense, recharge B P -- for the Lore , because of the greater resistance debuff to cold damage 1

Ringo Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 So I have a question about this build - is Heat Loss worth taking? In your build it's up every 100s. Do you find the -res and/or the team End gain to be useful often? I was just running around on an old Ninja/Cold MM and noticed his build didn't have Heat Loss and wondered if past me had incorrectly written the T9 off

Heat loss is an important debuff Also, the endurance buff is ENORMOUS for anyone in range. 2

Heat loss is an important debuff Also, the endurance buff is ENORMOUS for anyone in range. I've seen comments about Heat Loss being optional but for all of my /Cold AT's, it's at least as useful for the massive +END as it is for the AoE -RES...which isn't small! For a lvl 50 corrupter the -RES from Sleet is -30%. But Heat Loss is another -24% and it STACKS with Sleet! If you have any other -RES procs in the mix (I have both an Achille's Heel in Infrigidate and then a Fury of the Gladiator -RES in Soul Drain in my Ice/Cold build....and Soul Drain is also nigh perma), you are literally turning the foes into paper targets. Oh and +1 for the BP Lore Pet for the additional -RES from their sleet. It's sort of how some /Dark users forget that Howling Twilight isn't just a situational rez, but a massive (-500%????) Regen debuff on targets it hits. I consider Heat Loss to be one of the foundational powers of the set. Edited December 13, 2023 by Crysis 3
Doomguide2005 Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 +1 to the above Heat Loss delivers what you would expect from a t9. And it isn't just +endurance it's also a +recovery buff. Hit 4 foes and you've just buffed yourself (and teammates) the equivalent of an unhanced Recovery Aura for +recovery and will compete quite handily with being effected by Transference. Even the most end heavy build is going to have trouble exhausting its endurance bar in the 10 sec of downtime in @Voltak's build. 1
Snickerdoodle1429 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 This build looks like a lot of fun! When you are posting about completing things as a duo or trio, what are the other ATs and builds your teammates are running with out of curiosity?

Among the vast number of hard mode challenges we have done in very small teams like Duos or Trios, we have done ---> We did an ITF 2 Star (Hard Mode) It was a trio with this specific make up Fire/Cold Corruptor (Raw) Ice/Cold Corruptor (Voltak) Fire/Kin Corruptor (Fubar) _ We have done many other challenges with different toons or power sets Edited January 19 by Voltak 1 1
Crysis Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Wondering how your builds will fare with the large nerf coming to Soul Drain? I count on that for almost all my Corruptor builds and I’m sure many others do too.
Heldebraun Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Sorry to necro this thread @Voltak, but curious how transferable this build would be for Fire/Cold corruptor at the current time. Would this be an easy transition from Ice/Cold to Fire/Cold and relevant given any changes made since the post? If not, would you happen to have a Fire/Cold corruptor build you'd endorse? Thanks!
