Beasts/FF - Any advice or suggestions?

In looking over the Wiki, to see what particular power combinations I haven't played yet, one that looked interesting to me is beasts/forcefield.  Has anyone tried this combination, and if so, what are your thoughts or advice?  Thanks for reading!

you will be way over defense at higher levels/final build.  go beast/cold.

this is beast/ff without power boost.  mine anyways.

beast/cold max level, sure i dip below 45% exemped but -def/-res/-regen/etc

As stated, your pets will be over the softcap,  and flirting with incarnate softcap. It should leave you with several power slots, so you could load up on the personal Beast attacks (which proc really well). You'd never have to use Fortify Pack, so your pets will always have the crit chances (which is so nice!).

 I had one WAY back, and deleted it around level 15/20. I got bored with it, and didn't fully understand Beasts. With the FF changes, it ought to be great. I know I love my Necro/FF.
