Burnt Toast Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I had a level 50+++ Storm/Ice Defender on pre-sunset CoH and thought I would recreate them. Defenders and Corruptors have always been appealing to me - more so Corruptors due to their increased damage. With this character though I find that it is better suited to the Defender AT due to the increased debuffs and not having to take a worthless (imo) power - Gale; which is funny considering the character's name. This character is a great ranged character with soft-capped ranged defense. I like super speed, but I also like being able to get to higher up places - hence.. Super jump. I took Combat Jumping..for the defense. As for Kick, Tough, and Weave... Rah-Rah is correct - you have to have those two powers (kick and tough) in order to get weave which is a great power defense wise on Defenders.

Gentoo Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 (edited) WIth practice, Hurricane can be used to tighten up the mobs and oraganize them for efficient AOEs. If you really want to get super fancy, work teleport into that and teleport around while you herd them up and try to get them all tightly together as possible. Then you can take them all down with Sands of Mu vet power and other super short range aoes and cones 😛 It is a unique playstyle for sure. Edited August 20, 2019 by Gentoo 1
