Dark Miasma or Darkness Affinity?

It's been a while since I rolled a support character.  I'm heavily leaning toward dark miasma or affinity.  I'm not sure what I'd pair with it in either regard.  What are your opinions on these 2 sets?  Thanks for reading!

Ultimately, play what you want.  But you asked for opinion, so...  Darkness Affinity by far.  It puts Dark Miasma to shame.  It has all of the potent debuffs from Dark Miasma, with Fade and Soul Absorption.  Both powers are so good.

Dark Affinity is very good, but maybe you don't want to play a controller? Dark Miasma may not have Fade and Soul Absorption, but it does have Fearsome Stare (nobody cares about Petrifying Gaze) and is a very solid set on a defender or corruptor.

Love both, but Affinity edges it for me. I find that Fade and Soul Absorption reduce the reliance on the heal, which although very good, needs a to hit check and has a slow animation.

This leaves me free to be getting on with other stuff.

My current fave Controller is Symphony/DA, good control but feels very blastery in its playstyle.

Yeah, it does seem the better of the 2.  I wonder how it'd gel with arsenal or symphony control...

Darkness Affinity basically works with everything since it does just about single support function you could want: Healing, regen, endurance, Def/res buffs, -res/-dam/-hit/-recharge/-regen debuffs and gets a great pet too.

I guess the question becomes "do I want to play a controller or not?" Affinity is really good and Fade/Soul Absorption are awesome, but so is Fearsome Stare...

What this team needs is more Defenders
