Merit Conversions and what can be transferred?

So, I have a bunch of Astral Merits, but few Empyrean.  Maybe I misread in chat, but can Astral's be converted to Empyrean?  And if possible where can I do that?

 

2nd what can I transfer between characters?  Not shard or threads.

I can answer the 2nd question: Nothing.  None of the incarnate materials can be transferred between characters.

There's a vendor in Ouroborus who can convert them for you.

 

You can email Astral and Empyrean Merits between characters (and even to other players) but you have to do it one merit at a time. Components and Threads cannot be emailed.

You can email Astral and Empyrean Merits between characters (and even to other players) but you have to do it one merit at a time. Components and Threads cannot be emailed.

 

You can convert 50 Empyrean Merits into a Transcendent Merit so that you can effectively transfer 50 Emp Merits at a time.
