Beam Rifle is the only Powerset I know that doesn't use either of the T1 or T2 in a ST chain. I don't think that's that common. Remember! Let's be careful out there! I don't think that's that common. None of my lvl 50 Blasters use their t1 or t2 on cooldown. Only as a filler when everything else is down. When safe to be in melee my Energy/Energy Blaster uses Sniper Blast, Total Focus, Energy Punch, Bone Smasher, once in a while Power Burst and once in a REALLY long while, Power Bolt. So yes, I USE t1 or t2, but not on cooldown, making them poor choices for proccing. Edited November 20 by Wavicle Wavicle's Guide To What Really Matters: What Needs To Be Done On Every Toon

Same with my Energy Blaster. I have the Defiant Barrage set in Sniper Blast because that's my usual opener and most-used attack. That usually keeps a couple stacks of the mez protection up as long as I keep blasting. (I also have the Overwhelming Force set in Explosive Blast so I can use it in melee too.)

Ukase Posted November 22 Posted November 22 As mentioned, the simplest thing to do is visit your START vendor and get the defense amplifier. It's relatively cheap at low levels, and easily affordable for most level 50 characters. And if not, the break free is the next simplest thing. Don't feel like you need to save a break free for when you get held. You can use one before you engage. It doesn't just stop most mez, it also stops kb, which can be super annoying when trying to position a cone attack. 1
