Storyline Arcs in the RWZ broken about 50% of the time

When you first come to RWZ you go see the npc Levantera. Then she sends you to Borea to do a few introductory missions with her. This is where the problem is. Half the time after those few Borea missions, she will send you back to Levantera to continue the arc. The other half of the time the mission to go to Borea from Levantera breaks and never completes. So you end up doing missions forever with Borea (there are only a handful of missions that are repeated over and over -- grinding). Note: If you want to stay in RWZ and grind these short (10 minute) missions forever, just go to Borea (good name (short for boredom). 

 

When it breaks, the only thing you can do to "fix" it is to tell Levantera to "Complete the Mission." Then you can go back to the normal storyline arcs that will eventually move on to the other NPC's.

the normal path for levantra is send you to borea, borea sends you one one mission, to hunt 10 rikti. after you go back to borea to turn that in, she sends you to serpent drummer, etc... in the leventra arc, there is only one thing to do for borea. but you are now introduced to borea and she has endless, repeatable missions that are completely separate. 

 

so just to clarify, sometimes, when you go back to borea after killing 10 rikti, you cannot turn in that mission? she only offers her other missions? you do not have in your mission log to visit the next objective, serpent drummer?

You're clicking Borea too many times.

Levantera sends you to Borea. Borea gives you a mission to kill 10 Rikti in the zone and then go back to Levantera.

HOWEVER, if you click on Borea AGAIN (before OR after completing the hunt) she will give you ANOTHER mission. THIS mission has nothing to do with Levantera's arc and simply unlocks Borea as a repeatable mission contact. You do not need to do ANY missions for Borea besides the Hunt 10 Rikti mission.
