Elfis Posted Tuesday at 08:12 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:12 AM How can I disable the "The passage in front of you leads to Paragon City..." popup that appears every time I leave the midnighter club in croatoa (and probably elsewhere, but that's where I parked my characters to get the midnighter day job)?
Luminara Posted Tuesday at 12:35 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:35 PM Switch back to Hero or Villain (it only pops up for Vigilantes and Rogues), or use another method of transit (LRT, Ouroboros portal, mission transporter, etc.). Get busy living... or get busy dying. That's goddamn right.
Elfis Posted Tuesday at 05:50 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 05:50 PM (edited) Yes, I know I can change alignment. I bought all my characters the base transporter and moved them to night ward. Yet... the question remains! Unless your answer means you're sure there's no way. You could say that then. Edited Tuesday at 05:50 PM by Elfis typo

Never experienced it myself, but unless there's a little box "don't show this again" then no,
Elfis Posted Wednesday at 07:58 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 07:58 PM If you haven't experienced it, then maybe it's only certain zones. Leaving the midnighter club for Croatoa with a vigilante gives you the popup every time, and it's annoying enough that I moved all my characters to night ward for the midnighter dayjob badge instead. It's a totally useless warning dialog, so should probably be removed if any of the coders know offhand how to quickly do it.

Then, I would suggest that you post about that in suggestion form. I would ask for the thread to be moved, but starts with a question rather than suggestion. If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
lemming Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM While you can't disable it (as far as I can find), you can bind a key to just say yes with /dialog_yes 1

I respectfully disagree. Ignoring teaming for a second, Vigilantes are able to complete Hero content and only visit Villain zones, where Rogues are able to complete Villain content and only visit Hero zones. The popup is a reminder when side switching that after seeing it, if none of the contacts will interact with you, your alignment is on the wrong side of the zone's content. I don't find it totally useless. Edited 9 hours ago by Psamanthe clarity
