I'm a big fan of the SB, it would be great for it to get some love. But I always assumed the Fixer was the person narrating the thing, and what would the Maker do exactly?

I guess you could say, "Mission accomplished! The Maker has a gift for you..."

I think the SBB is a tight and well crafted event.  Another small one like it, maybe Sweeps Week with TV tropes instead of tent pole movie bits.  Jack Baur and the life for one and like crazy variety show for another.  Or maybeeeeeee you are a supe in a supe parody show.

I guess you could say, Mission accomplished! The Maker has a gift for you...

I'd think "Fixer" would be the one to call in when something goes wrong in a non-mechanical context, like unexpected personnel entering the floor requiring a distraction, though I'm not sure how that would work in SBB context.  "Maker" sounds like a swap for "Mechanic" which I see show up in a few sci-fi shows.  They're the McGuyver of the team.  In a reworked SBB context, I might see it as a position that is called upon when the game gives a random McGuffin need to any of the others blocking progress, and probably more than one through the full scenario, so it would be a timing thing.  

 

Say, did that show put two of The Librarians on the team?

I never thought about it until a month ago or so, but in the SBB...

The Grifter meets Sylvia Rexson, flirts with her, she gets mad.

Then they dirty flirt with her again, then she turns away offended and angrily walks away...

Then you gather with your group and beat her down for turning you down.

If you end up in court for that, chances are you're also facing the robbery charges for the casino heist... so make a deal with the DA to testify against your teammates for reduced charges, and do it quick before your team tries to do the same to you.

Should be pointed out, the casino is based off the St. Martial.  I don't think there's much court action.  Enforcers maybe...
