Zep
I have two of these - one each in my t1 and t2 attacks. elec/elec Stalker. Not a ton of healing - it does make a difference on those fights that go down to the wire. Were I to also stick it in Jacob's Ladder, I know the chance per hit goes down, could I get mult heal procs on a single activation? Dont know how AOE and procs work since the changes. ** Asus TUF x670E Gaming, Ryzen 7950x, AIO Corsair H150i Elite, TridentZ 192GB DDR5 6400, Sapphire 7900XTX, 48" 4K Samsung 3d & 56" 4k UHD, NVME Sabrent Rocket 2TB, MP600 Pro 8tb, MP700 2 TB. Primantis
Generally speaking the "Chance for a buff when you attack mobs" style procs cap out at 1 proc per activation. While I haven't personally tested Call of the Sandman, I know this has been the case with just about every other similar proc (chance to Build up, Force Feedback, Defender ATO procs, etc) Also, proc chance in AoE is calculated based on how many mobs were hit, not the maximum possible. So if you used Jacob's Ladder, and it only targeted 1 enemy, it should be roughly the same chance to proc as if it were a Single Target attack instead of an AoE. Hitting more than 1 enemy would diminish its chance to proc per enemy, but you're rolling more dice too. So it should all equal out. (I am not sure how misses factor in though)
Bopper
I've done some research on this topic recently. It focused on Force Feedback proc, but the principles should be the same. Basically there is a probability to proc on each target you hit. I believe the formula to be the following: Probability to Proc = PPM x (EnhancedRecharge + CastTime) / (60 x AreaMod) AreaMod = 1 + Radius x (11 x Arc + 540) / 40,000 For single target attack, the radius is 0, so the area mod is 1. For non-cone AoE, the arc is equal to 360.
