Raven costume?

Is there a way to make my toon turn into a raven or something of that look when I fly?  If not can this be created ASAP?  My toon's name is Raven-1 just so you know why I'm asking!

We do have other animal transformation travel powers and there are birds in this game, so is it possible? Maybe, but is it likely? Probably not gonna happen anytime soon

Join the dev team as a 3D modeler and animator. Make the power yourself and add it in.

This. You pretty much need to do this to make anything happen.

 

Anything else is just suggestion, and the developer team works on what they want. Maybe they see ideas here in the suggestion forum that they like, but that won't guarantee anything.

And you basically have two options with this. One, make the transformation work the same way as the other noncombat travel powers like the hoverboard, that disable all of your powers while they're active, or Two, in addition to making the 3D model for the raven transformation and animations for it when flying, come up with animations for every single power in the game that a player can have so that they animate correctly while a player is in raven form, as well as all the animations for player reactions to powers used on them (i.e., the shaking from receiving Electric buffs, being knocked back or down, etc.).

I too, would love to see a "flock of birds" transformation flight power. Preferably colorable, like a Bats aura, so you could be black ravens, brown hawks, or green parrots...

The closest thing you can do now, without programming changes accepted by the Dev Team, would be something like

• Devote a costume slot to this
• For that costume set, use a bird's head, black, wings, black, "monstrous" legs with birds talons for feet, all black.
• make some costume change m'acros to bamph you from one costume to the other, and then activate your flight power. 

I  think that would be something like:    /macro c1 "cce 1 ccFeatherBurst$$Powexecname Fly"

Teleport (yourself) travel power has a "flock of ravens" animation, like Black Swan in the magi trial.  

 

Or something like the Bat Aura, paired with a true invisibility power like Hide, Superior Invisibility, Cloak of Darkness, etc, so only the Aura is visible.  Unfortunately there isn't a "bird" aura.

Teleport powers, as much improved as they are for tactical use with powexeclocation commands, are still cumbersome at best in my mind. I would never want to use them as a long distance travel power. yuck.
