1. when playing a personal mission where you take on the role of another character, your powers all shut off.  Wouldn't it be a better thing if they were suppressed like when a stone armor shifts into Granite or a PB/WS uses squid or Dwarf form?

 

2.  there are 2 gladiator badges that since live have had ??? as their description. One is for 100 Mu Guardians and the other for 100 Force Field generators from the skyraiders. Can this be fixed?

 

3. Speaking of gladiator badges, the ones like defeat 300 ancestor spirits of 300 bladegrass or 100 mu guardians or 100 force field generators, these are just defeat badges on the gladiator tab.  Perhaps they could be moved to the defeat tab and then the defeat badge awards a gladiator badge as well.  Also, the critera for 300 for ancestor spirits and bladegrass may have been nice on live when it was pay to play, but in the modern era perhaps they could be reduced to 100?

 

4. The Full Spectrum badge for 1 each of the Seed of Hamidon Seedlings is on the defeat tab with the other giant monsters, that is fine. How come Germinator Terminator for defeating the Seed of Hamidon is an Accomplishment badge? Shouldn't it be a defeat badge?

 

5. Mayhem badges, 2 are achievement and the rest are defeats, all safeguard side missions are achievements. How about a new badge tab labeled mayhem/safeguard and all side mission badges from mayhem/safeguards go to that tab?

This should probably be reported as a bug instead.

They are on the gladiator tab because those are the gladiator powers you unlocked. No gladiator badge, no gladiator in arena. Moving them to the defeat tab and getting a defeat badge and a gladiator badge for them would be a double reward for a single accomplishment. (Edit: And since they would still give a gladiator badge, the gladiator badge would be tracked on the gladiator tab for progress, so you would be getting two badges for one accomplishment listed in three locations depending on how close to completion you were.) (Edit again: However, I do acknowledge that we do already get double badge rewards for single accomplishments for other things.)

I think it's WAI by original thoughts by devs.  Somethings were supposed to be mysteries I guess.   I would support them getting a description of what we were hunting.

 

On defeats & gladiator overlaps.   It is kinda annoying to have to switch between the two to see what is incrementing sometimes.  I spend more time checking the wiki looking up just where certain badges are.   Is it Event? Defeat? Accomplishment? Gladiator?   (for some examples)

I was chatting with some other players I run with,  it was agreed that this idea should be posted as well

 

The MSR badges:  Do they really need to be set to 10, still?    If they were adjusted to 5 each I sense there would be some happier players.

 

Perhaps as a compromise,  the 2 badges get adjusted to 5 and the badge for the dropship gets adjusted to 5 also.

As I recall - granted it's been a while - on at least some of them, your powers are *replaced* as well. It may be tied to this.

I don't really care about the numbers one way or the other, but as far as "move and award another," what would really be the point other than "award another badge?"

All you have to do is "keep playing." 10 isn't that big a deal. If we were talking 150 raids or something to get them? Then maybe. But 10? Doesn't take that long.

Well, yeah. For instance when you impersonate a Skull tracking down the Petrovichs and when you play the guy that beats up Back Alley Brawler at the end of the same arc.

Some of us aren't fans of MSRs.   Ten isn't as bad as it used to be for the bombs & GM like it used to, but it is at least ten runs.  (Assuming you're on a MSR with a team that does a bomb, which is not 100%)   And while one can bail after the GM is down, I at least feel obligated to stick around.

I think I have a handful of chars with the two badges from this.

Add in that even if you are on a team that gets a bomb and even if you are nearby when they do, you can still fail to get bomb credit. This has happened to me twice. In a row. (On the occasions I was talked into doing a MSR.) My friend/team mate, who was further away, got credit on one of those runs, but I did not despite actively protecting the bomb character from Rikti at the bomb gate.

 

So I guess, instead of reducing the number of bomb runs needed, just give the league credit for a bomb per MSR?

 

(Edit: I still don't have those badges, but I haven't been doing any MSR runs any more either. Kind of frustrating to bother with given the inconsistency of bomb credit.)
