Maquinna Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Can this be pushed into a Respec type levelling, instead of a per level levelling that it's currently doing? ie; it triggers a /respec (with out consuming existing ones) and lets all the power selections be done first, than add the slots in after. as it is, most that use the 2nd or 3rd builds are already at max level, idk that any would use it prior to being max level. this'd speed up the build change rather than being as clunky as levelling it by repeatedly interacting with the trainer. 1

I'm not against the idea, but I don't think the game can go into the "respec mode" while you still have level-ups to claim, (which is what switching builds for the first time effectively does)...

Doomguide2005 Posted Monday at 03:02 PM Posted Monday at 03:02 PM ? My second (or third) doesn't have, typically, the same power selections so how does this help?

Not OP so my interpretation: If you swap to a third build for the first time, it would just copy your second build and then immediately put you into a respec. The player may not even see the copied build, it's just a means to to avoid the tedium of leveling up from level 1 and instead using the simpler "respec" process. Seems like a reasonable approach if it's possible. 1 SPOON!
Psyonico Posted Monday at 09:57 PM Posted Monday at 09:57 PM So, this may seem dumb, but I actually have a level 50 character that has a 2nd build that’s only trained up to level 10. The reason is the character is an Empathy toon and the second build leveled up just enough for me to use him to heal a character in my primary account while afk-farming the damage taken badges. if the OP’s idea was used, I’d have to do a full leveled “respec” on him. now, I’m not saying my use case is enough to justify not implementing this if it is possible, just that you’ll never please everyone. 1 1 What this team needs is more Defenders

That is a really good idea! So you can have a maxed out character and a perma-lowbie character as the same character! Neat!!! With that in mind, yeah, I'm partial to keeping things as is then.

Psyonico Posted Tuesday at 12:54 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:54 AM Yeah, I mean, he’s still a 50 and sees anything below 48 as grey conning, he just only has powers/slots of a level 10 because that’s what I needed to 6 slot Heal other and get a few other necessary abilities for what I’m using the 2nd build for. 1 What this team needs is more Defenders
