Please. Someone try to defend it. Sentinels have reduced target numbers to balance them against other ranged ATs. If you want more range and targets go with one of those.

One is a sleep and one is a KB that can be changed to KD with an enhancement, so gives nice added control. Slot cones/Ranged AoE with Artillery and ranged damage with Thunderstrikes will allow you to cap ranged defence depending on the secondary and other slotting. 1

It's the only blaster nuke with a cap of 10. The rest are 16. 1

I played one back on Live and did just that, with the only downside being that it didn't mesh great with Drain Psyche, the signature move of MM and now the sustain power. Most of them also have a 40 ft radius, so even with significant range buffs it's tough to get them much beyond 60 ft. There are a few with a 50 ft radius, but the only cone I'm aware of with a lot more range is Dark Blast/Umbral Torrent, which has an 80 ft radius. While it does require KB>KD, it's quite easy to buff it well beyond 100 ft. (Use with care, as it will often hit adjoining spawns.) Dark Blast has a second cone, Tenebrous Tentacles, with a standard 40 ft radius. If you want a third cone, Static Discharge is available in both Electricity Mastery and Mu Mastery. If your goal is max range, you're going to want to go /Energy for Boost Range (which can easily be made perma). Uuniverse

Foes that resist psi damage resist it a LOT (i.e., robots) and there are only 2 powers in either set that aren't !00% psi. Uuniverse

Camelbobsled Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Sonic/Plant/Mace. Siren's Song hits 16 targets with Mace Beam Volley form the APP hitting 16 as well. Howl & Shockwave hitting 10, you get some CC from both Shockwave and MBV. Plant gives you Ripper, you'll want a melee cone since the Sonics nuke is a Pbaoe, plus you get Thorn Burst so another reason to mix and match Ranged/Melee. Can be built to be softcapped to ranged and S/L. Pure ranged it is not but it'll for sure be fun as you can play ranged or melee and it's a combo not really played.
