Derek Icelord Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Did you at any point before doing Erin West's arc, (flashback or otherwise), complete Tavish Bell's related arcs? To my knowledge, doing West's arc as a flashback does not change the requirements to have done the listed arcs previously. 1 Where are we going, and why am I in this hand basket? That's how I did Kelly Uqua's arc, and I was able to talk to her in West's arc and get the badge. 1 --- 64453 - This Was Your Life? - An AE arc that lets you relive your hero's greatest triumphs! And my inactive list is empty. To be fair, I tried to talk to them in the contact run before while attempting this arc and Tavish Bell acted like we'd never met. Which is highly likely. In this run, Tavish is also telling me I have better things to do. What am I doing wrong? I have the feeling that you're going to tell me that I have to get Tavish as a "natural" contact before attempting Erin West's arc and then approaching him in person during her Flashback. If I do *his* arc in Flashback, will that count? Or maybe I'm just completely off... I've done the arc on multiple characters including ones I did all 3 external contacts through Flashback only, and still gotten the badges. 2 things I can think of: - If you're doing Erin West's arc via flashback, you have to go talk to the contacts in person. They won't show up in your Inactive Contacts to call, but if you have the Souvenirs and walk up to them in person they should talk to you. Their locations are in the guide. - To talk to Tavish Bell, you need to complete both of his arcs: The Code Merlin and Vigilante Justice. Make sure you've done both, and try it again. (You can also still get the badges with just Six and Uqua and skip Bell, if you collect all their clues.) If Tavish won't talk to you after you've done both... I dunno, could be a bug, consider reporting it. 1

Didn't get the badge because I blew it later.) My best guess is, there are other things you can do that West disapproves of, and I don't know each and every one. You might've aggravated her too much if you asked too many questions or criticized her or flirted with her as Rikmach said. Usually I can still get the clue even if I ask a few questions if I did Alien speech/Keep you laughing/Skulls thing was clever, but I don't know where the threshold is.

Display Name Posted July 4 Posted July 4 (edited) I have all of the clues except Shady Crey-d and Bell's unique clue. Is this enough to badge? How do I get Shady Crey-d? I've been back and forth from Number 6 to Uqua and couldn't get it... Sigh... I finally stumbled across the Shady Crey-d badge but in the process got the "Not so Pointless Death" clue. The instructions say to go back to Uqua but I can't trigger it. I did it once already trying to get the badges but this time I can't seem to find it. Can someone help me, please? I believe having all the clues with Shady Crey-d and Not So Pointless Death are enough to get the badge, someone else above mentioned that combo working. I know there's some flexibility in missing a few clues, but I don't know the exact details, so I just listed every clue possible. Edited July 5 by Petrograd
shadezslayer Posted July 6 Posted July 6 thank you for this guide. it helped out a lot. I have been trying to get those badges for the last week now
MsAligned Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) Despite doing everything exactly as described, Erin did not give her clue, got 2 clues(3, 10) from Number 6, Bell gave me 1 clue (9). When I ask Kelly Uqua about Brown, he says that that name is unfamiliar to me. Guessing I'm screwed and will have to restart this. I have completed the story arcs from all the contacts, in fact I have completed every story arc shown in flashback, red and blue, the badge tracker shows the only story arc badges I am missing are Erin West. talking to 1 contact would add a clue, but delete 1 or more. after running back and forth between 6 and Uqua finally got the clues to 9 total, it appears there is an order you need to get them in and part way through this mess, after initially not giving me a clue, the clue from West showed up. what a mess. in the end got both badges. Really disliked this whole arc, having to keep going back to West added nothing to the story except to be tedious, having to see the contacts multiple times added nothing. Edited July 10 by MsAligned
