Techwright Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Are you saying that's a pro or a con? Repeatable implies a point of exhaustion of interest to me, personally. 1

Yes, I am bored with PI radios. The mobs are too easy, everything gets stomped quickly. Now, there are more interesting enemies in KW, than the overly easy PI groups. Scarlet Shocker Posted June 18 Posted June 18 well they were called PI missions because they never end. 1 How the hell am I even supposed to know if ignorance is bliss?
lyra Posted June 19 Posted June 19 can someone explain why people run radios? [NPC] Fallen Gunner: Hero schmero.

It's easily obtainable content that never runs out, it's easy XP and there's no needing to go to different zones like in regular mission arcs. The drawback on PI radios is you face the same enemy groups over and over (because people skip caves for CoT and generally avoid Carnies) so you just end up fighting Arachnos and Council, and the missions are very short. Kallisti Wharf repeatables i've found to be much more fun, with Sky Raiders, Skulls, Awakened, UPA, Warriors, Freaklok, there are more enemy groups to keep it varied, they're a bit more challenging, and they're on better maps (all my subjective opinion of course). For me at least, there is no up side to PI radios over KW repeatables now. 3 2

Its why I don't see Kallisti overtaking Peregrine in LFG anytime soon. 1 1 Everlasting's Actionette, Guardian Echo Five, Sunflare, and Officer Foxfire! Also Starwave, Nightlight, and many more!
KaizenSoze Posted June 21 Author Posted June 21 Most fun I have had in awhile today. Playing a support build, Trick Arrow/Beam defense, herding mostly sub 50s through 3x8 repeatables. I feel like the debuffs were really neede to keep the team going against the more dangerous KW mobs. Night Pixie on Excelsior Introduction to Arachnos Widows - Night/Blood/Fortunata

For me I do it when it's late, teams scarcer, and I do not want to solo. I also agree with @KaizenSozethere are far more groups (variety) and far harder content in general which satisfies an itch that PI Radios don't begin to scratch especially when it's my highly incarnated scrapper. Mobs there can defeat her if she aggros too much and doesn't play tactically. PI radios by comparison are a joke for her. 1 1
