Tankshock Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Is there a way to bind fly and a flypose to the same key, so they activate with one click? Thanks!
catsi563 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Not at the current moment beyond using a macro to activate the flypose after you start moving the trick is that youre activating fly but all that does is make you hover in place the fly pose only kicks in when youre moving in a direction so its essentially two separate actions though in theory we know that shouldnt be too much of a stretch since we now have inherant stances for moving like using the powerslide with super speed to pretend to be an ice slide etc so theoretically its possible for the devs at some point to make flight poses part of the inherant and id be all in for that for sure 1 My Dear you deserve the services of a great wizard but youll have to settle for the aid of a second rate pick pocket ~Schmendrick So you mean you'll put down your rock, and I'll put down my sword; and we'll try and kill each other like civilized people?
Tankshock Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago Thanks, I see now that if I activate while moving it kicks in, but then drops out as soon as I stop. 1
UltraAlt Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago @Tankshock What I do is turn on flight, hit autorun so the character will keep moving, and then hit a macro for the flypose emote. 2 If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
BasiliskXVIII Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) 4 hours ago, Tankshock said: Is there a way to bind fly and a flypose to the same key, so they activate with one click? Thanks! You can, but they require the use of cycling bind files. Create a text file called flypose1.txt and save it to somewhere you can easily find it, like C:\flypose1.txt In that file, put the following: subtract "+$$powexectoggleon fly$$+forward$$bindloadfilesilent C:\flypose2.txt" Then create a second one called flypose2.txt in the same folder and put the following text: subtract "-$$em flypose#$$bindloadfilesilent C:\binds\flypose1.txt" (substitute the "#" with whichever flypose number you want to use). Once you have these, in game, you can do /bindloadfile C:\flypose1.txt to load the first bind file. What this will do is activate fly and set autorun when you press the numpad subtract button down, then it switches the bindfile so that the numpad subtract button activates the emote on release. The proviso is that it will require a slower, more deliberate press of the button so that the game has time to activate all of the commands in the first bind before it tries to activate the second. Also, if you use a different location than directly in your C:\ drive, make sure to change the paths in the binds accordingly. If you want a different button than the numpad -, here's a lits of other key names you can use in place of the "subtract": https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/List_of_Key_Names Edited 15 hours ago by BasiliskXVIII error in file path 1
Xalon Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I read that just for us on Homecoming, if you have the "forward" key pressed (whether arrow or W or whatever) and then press SHIFT while flying, that it will auto cycle through the 4 poses. Is this true? Because I try to stay away from addons and macros and all that extra.
