Not sure if 'Blapper' is the right term but "garsh, it is just so unfair that those brutes and tanks get to jump into hordes of dudes and light themselves on fire. And aiming is so hard; I want to light myself on fire!" just sounds silly and fun to me. I assume X/Fire is gonna win because Burn + Hot Feet + "It's FIRE" but I wasn't sure if Electrical or Fire was going to be more PBAOE focused/capable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated ^_^

I play my Water/Atomic Blaster as a (nearly) pure melee... using Combat Teleport as the extra 'get into combat' power. I end up with a bunch of macros for several powers.

I use the 'blasts' from the primary very much like I do with Scrapper/Stalkers that have a ranged attack. I also skipped Water Jet (it used to be a very bad choice, but that has been somewhat corrected for a while since a miss no longer burns Tidal).

Well Elec/Fire has stupid amounts of potential PBAoE/Melee and that's without firing AoE's at things in your face.  The most I have no clue, but mine has something like 7 such attacks (and yes most of them are fire damage attacks from the secondary).

I run an armored Water/Atomic myself.   Water Atomic - Ciaraine 2c+ - [i28].mbd
I also did Fire/Atomic, more dps, less durable.

AE 801 (link) is a variety of missions for fun and challenge, and is designed for a team of 5+ Incarnates.  Just search '801' in AE.

     801 Difficulty Varies: 801.0 Easy, ..., 801.2 Standard*, ..., 801.5 Moderate**, ..., 801.6 Hard***, ..., 801.7 Four Star****, ... 801.F Death.

I may be AFK IRL, But CoH is my Forever Home.

/Martial is great for blapping between Reaction Time and Burst of Speed.  I have a Dark/Martial blaster, use BoS to port in, Dark with -to hit keeps me safe and Reaction Time slows everyone down around me.

Yeah /fire has the most pbaoe at 4 with hot feet, burn, fire sword circle and consume.

Keep in mind if you hate targeting Im pretty sure you can keybind or macro location aoe to yourself. Also think that targeted aoe is the same. So that should help if you want to avoid having to target.

Alot depends on if you're building for mostly dps kill em quick and fast, looking to have some CC and/or survivability.
