Doctor Weber paced in his secret lab on Mercy Island. With his hands behind his back, he considered the expansive monitor covering the wall. The enormous screen displayed a self-rising tower of filth that faintly glowed toxic green. Speaking to himself, because no one else was more worthy of his words, he said, “What should I call this new phenomenon?” He paused and licked his lower lip before continuing. 

 

“The Weber Effect is appealing, but it is too soon to garner that much attention from Grandville. My science has indeed refined the Infected. Gave them deeper access to the radioactive burning. Gave the least of the RADIOACTIVE FIRE.” But even dementia can have limits. He knew attaching his name to the pillar of contaminated waste rising from the Cesspool at Darwin's Landing Water Treatment Facility would draw attention from Grandville. He turned and continued his monologue. “The pillar, no, my pillar, calls to them. And not just the contaminated. Anyone with access to evolved radioactive powers could feel its summons.

 

“That’s it. I am a genius unrivaled. I will name this summoning… The Burning Call of the Atom. And I will its subjects…Frads.” 

 

Who are we?
Justice Superteamers is not your average super group. We embrace City of Alts as a feature. We run many projects to leverage the power of stacked (de)buffs and explore common themes to accomplish things that a random group could not. Come join us on Excelsior for our Frad Fredux Superteam, where we will harness the power of Fire and Radiation to subdue our foes. Longtime vets and new players are all invited as we focus on having fun with other friendly players. You're welcome to use your secondary build if you'd like to maintain a solo, PVP, or non-project compliant build.

 

What do you need?

• Any character with a Fire based powerset and a Radiation/Atomic based powerset in their primary and secondary. Thermal Radiation can fill either Fire or Rad.
• Leadership - Maneuvers no later than level 14 (2 Def slots ASAP)
• The following are suggested, but if you can't fit them all in, not required:
  • Assault
  • Tactics
• Other team-focused powers are great too: Vengeance, Victory Rush, Weaken Resolve, Spirit Ward, Teleport Target, and Fold Space are always useful.

 

What doesn’t matter?
Experience. We have a wide variety of player experience levels that you can draw upon; all you need to do is ask. 

Contact Details:

• Our first meeting will be Friday, Dec 5, 2025, at 8pm EST/5pm PST/1am UTC (see link above for time zone conversions) at Arbiter Richard in Mercy Island on Excelsior. Feel free to show up fresh from the tutorial (or even skip it).
• We'll coordinate the group using a global channel named "Justice Superteamers." Everyone participating on this team must join the channel (/chan_join "Justice Superteamers").
• We have a Justice Superteamers SG with a fully functional base. Team members are welcome to join the SG, and anyone can use the public base amenities using the code JST-19564. We also have a Discord server for text and voice communication.
• We'll start in the Rogue Isles and run arcs, papers, and banks there, but will eventually make ourselves vigilantes/rogues so we can enjoy what Paragon and Praetoria have to offer.
• Our focus is PVE content (TFs, Contact Arcs, iTrials, the occasional tip, etc).
• There is no limit on the number of people that can join us. This isn't going to be a fixed group of 8; the more, the merrier. Feel free to show up late, roll a 2nd alt, etc.
• Super-Sidekick makes teaming incredibly easy. If you already have a character that fits the theme of this team, or won't be able to join us at the start of this team, don't worry; we'll accept you at any level, any time. Just note that if you're significantly beyond the rest of the team in terms of level, you should expect to exemplar down to the rest of the team most of the time.

Justice Super Teamers is a great place to hang out.  I game with them on Fridays and Sundays.  The themed teams they run are fun to explore.  The teams steamroll content even at hard settings.  
 

I am really glad to have the opportunity to play with this great crew.

I am someone who likes to zip through content for the merits. But one of the best things about these folks is they're smart and know the game. I usually learn something each session.

If you're thinking the name is nonsensical, well, you're pretty much right but there is some method to the madness.  Many of us in JST took part in FRAD superteams back in the day.  Those teams were pretty strict, initially all fire/rad controllers then fire/rad corruptors.  We're going to harken back to those days but open it up a bit.  Regardless of AT you get some combination of debuff with various forms of Radiation and MOAR DAMAGE! with Fire.  

 

"You still haven't explained what a fredux is" you may be saying.  It's a combation of frad and redux, to denote that we're reviving frad teams, this time with a twist. 

 

As for me, I'm going old school, fire/rad controller.  Feel free to show up with any combo you want (Thermal is wild card, fire or rad).
