Autumn Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Now that I have reached level 50 (yay) is there a reason to keep gaining XP (incarnate abilities?) or is it smarter to turn it off and gain more inf?
HelenCarnate Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Your choice. Leaving xp on allows you an easier path to incarnate xp and allows you to get all the way to tier 4 for every slot without ever doing any incarnate trials. If you plan on going the long way and doing the trials then turning off xp will get you more cash.
Autumn Posted July 11, 2019 Author Posted July 11, 2019 Does that include the hybrid slot? Trying to uncode Paragon wiki's old notes with the current state of the game...
Rathulfr Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 You want to keep XP on so you gain Veteran Levels. You will earn multiple Empyrean Merits for every 3 veteran levels, up until Vet level 100. You want/need Empyrean Merits for crafting the Rare/Very Rare components needed for T3/T4 Incarnates. The amount of merits earned per milestone eventually declines as you advance, with the largest numbers rewarded at the lower vet levels, descending to fewer merits at the higher vet levels. There's a document/link around here somewhere that provides the exact details. @Rathstar Energy/Energy Blaster (50+3) on Everlasting Energy/Temporal Blaster (50+3) on Excelsior Energy/Willpower Sentinel (50+3) on Indomitable Energy/Energy Sentinel (50+1) on Torchbearer
Rylas Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 If you want to have tier 4 incarnate abilities (or just tier 3), I would recommend leaving XP on and doing what trials you can. WIth the random salvage drops you're bound to get a rare/very rare piece at some point which will do quite a bit towards shortening the path. Once you have what you want, turn of XP and make mad bank. Request hi-res icons here. Download the Icon Pack here!
