Which hybrid die you choose and why?

I am currently struggling between assault and meelee 🙂

What did you choose?  I know, it isn't such an important question, since the powers can be easily swapped out. But I am curious about your thoughts.

I went for assault on Scrapper, it feels that scrapper is all about damage and the secondary is pretty much to keep yourself doing damage, but I don’t solo so much.

 

i went support on my tanker because she is fairly defensive didn’t felt like I needed melee on top of  Invul/Ice.

It depends if I am going for more of an "off-tank" or just straight up damage.  For the former, I tend to prefer the support ability, and in the case of the latter, I go assault.  I find that little bit of extra tohit, def, and dmg to the entire team helps, and the constant end discount can keep me in the fight.  The direct +dmg of assault is also nice for that purpose.

Generally, I'd go Hybrid Core for Scrappers as it does more damage when activated for scrappers.  However, I have gone Radial because I felt for general game play, the extra proc energy damage did well, also if you team with a good Kin for instance, I do believe you're going to be at damage cap anyways, so have the proc instead of the +DAM

 

That said, I had a Regen Scrapper that I went with the Melee Core for the Resistance.

Assault 100% of the time on a scrapper. It’s a damage class. Unless you’re doing solo stuff I guess.

Glad you like it 🙂  I think on my Claws/Regen I use Assault, but I know on my Energy/Regen I used Melee.  However, the Energy/Regen was the old Regen.

I am doing both 🙂 So I will go with both. Luckily we can slot the hybrid spot we need at the moment.

yeah that’s cool. My main is a scrap. He has tons of options. 
 

it’s super easy to have multiples. Especially if you email yourself trans merits. Also gives ya something to do after 50 too.

I usually go with Assault, although I'm split between Core and Radial. I frequently craft more than one Hybrid and I've got several scrappers with Melee Core.

• Assault for an Offensive builds
• Melee Core for the Defensive Builds
• About half the time I'll have both the above, one on a full offense proc build, and one on a full defense durability build.
• Rarely Melee Radial.  I might have 3 builds that use the Radial.

IMO it really depends upon what an individual character needs based on their sets and build.
