Still shows -1000% Resistance (Fire, Energy) and -1060.2 HP on CoD.  Are you sure you used Taser Dart, not Toxic Dart?

yeah, Taser Dart.

Fire is still doing extreme levels of damage but energy damage seems to be down/resisted?  just used an ion judgement on it for 64 damage at 50+1 on a corr

ha, found out that ion judgement can cause your interface to proc/tick before the judgement damage happens.


still, not sure why taser dart isnt doing the trick anymore

Seeing the same numbers as Psyonico.

Additionally I switched to the Apprentice Charm prestige power to the same effect, hitting for mid 30s dmg.  and exemplared to lvl25 for Yin it took 2 25ish damage hits to light the slick

 

accidental prestige attack damage nerf?

mastermind damage scaling wonkeyness?

either way its not that significant enough to file a report about it

Doesn't seem like it should.  The pseudopet has -1000% resistance which then hardcaps at -300% resistance in practice.  Even if you somehow have +100% energy or dire resist from sets, which the pet inherits, that should.... Change the pet's resistance to -900% which still hardcaps at -300%.

I know, but how something's supposed to work with OSA isn't always how it actually works.  Almost all psuedopets in the game are intangible and unaffected by anything.  They're spawned, they do what they were designed to do, then they despawn.  OSA, though, creates an interactive pseudopet, and that interactivity means it behaves differently, and if IO set bonuses are transferring to Oil_Slick_Target... if, say, a small Absorb shield were inherited, it could still resist Energy/Fire damage by 1000% but fail to ignite because the shield blocked the damage from a power like Taser Dart/Apprentice Charm.

The Oil Slick Target has 1,070.897 hp combined with a -1,060.2 hp debuff, leaving it with 10.697 hp. On a MM, the Taser Dart power only does 9.1759 pts of damage at lvl 50. Presumably the -1,000% resist should be enough to compensate.

I logged onto my 43 mercs/TA and was igniting it in 1 shot every time (doing ~42 damage with Taser Dart).

 

Are you sure you weren't missing? You do have a 5% chance to miss.

What this team needs is more Defenders
