Papaschtroumpf Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 I need to raise a couple 100 millions inf for my alt's new shoes I have been playing around with AE on my EM/SD scrapper, mostly to see how far i can push it. I can do Comic Con S&L on x8+4 without dying and faster than on a brute as long as I pay attention. Someone said AE yields half the influence as regular play, so is there a similar mission with hordes of mobs that is easily reachable without special contact. For example I know the battle maiden open city map is popular for farmers. I can also survive the fire version of Comic Con so it doesn't have to be S&L as long as I get orange inspirations. I know there was a popular fire demons farm back in the day but not sure what arc it is in. I have not done the Unai Kemen (sp?) arcs, is that the arc it was part of? I'm OK getting a new arc and never completing the mission so I can repeat it in the future but I have completed Tina and Maria and I don't want to get locked into the "TF mode" of the flashback system to get access to those missions, I want my hero to remain available for regular play with the farm mission available for when I want to kill 20 minutes and make a little extra influence/drops Any suggestion? I probably can't solo a x8+4 AV, or at least not worth the investment in time
MunkiLord Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Unai has a Council mission that people like to farm. As long as you don't click the 20 glowies you can keep it. But I'm thinking AE is probably faster. That's all I have as far as farm missions. Now I know you didn't ask about this, but have you considered using the market to make influence? If you're willing, it's a very fast way to make the influence you need. That's how I fund my characters. 1 The Trevor Project
Papaschtroumpf Posted July 14, 2019 Author Posted July 14, 2019 I have dabbled I'm the market and probably made a couple hundred mils that way by playing the rare conversion roulette. I don't seem to be good at picking sell prices though. I have maybe 150 enhancements door sale that haven't sold in a week (and probably sold 100 others in that time). So I'm using that too but I find the process tedious. Maybe there are other .ore profitable secret marketing techniques, feel free to PM me your get rich quick method :) I probably will find farming tedious too, I can't I see myself doing more than a few runs at a time. I've had fun with the comic Con bloody rainbow so far but it was more about the cahllend of getting to x8+4 reliably and quickly. And I have only done it for the past few days. What I love about that AE mission is that if you position yourself right, it keeps feeding you mobs more or less at the rate you destroy them so you are never chasing the next group (you also never get the slightest respite from continuous combat to heal or whatever) which is pretty exciting (I also have a Brute that survives without trying but so much slower at killing). I think I know the council mission you speak of My standard for inf is that I can make about 30 mil in an ITF run (non speed, kill a bunch of stuff without being bigots about killing everything). That's ITF on a 50 at +4 with XP off.
MunkiLord Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 I don't have any secret. I try to make sure I profit about 2-2.5 million(give or take depending on conversion attempts) and price so it moves fast. If it's something that isn't always in extreme demand, I never post more than 5 or so of that enhancement at a time. But I agree, it can be extremely tedious at times. The Trevor Project
Shinobu Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 I like the Unai Council Earth farm map for my electric/shield scrapper. You get nice concentrated spawns that you can nuke one at a time and then move on to the next spawn, and usually my lightning rod and shield are up for every spawn. But it's not as fast as an AE fire farmer by a long shot.
SwitchFade Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 You have three real choices. Warriors, Maria Jenkins. Demons, Harvey maylor. Council, unai kemen. All three are great. I recommend get all three and keep them. Unai is one of his early ones, so as soon as you see council stop, don't get the glowies. As for 30mill, if this is your rate per hour, the above maps are the same yield. With notetiety set properly, you should be at about 13-20 minutes per map, with a yield of 7-10 mill. 1
Heraclea Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 The Demons farm I grew up with is one of Maria Jenkins' first offerings. Most people move on to tag the rest of the AVs. Ouroboros version is probably better, assuming it's available there; current version has weird maps and New Praetorian versions, and running it through Ouro means never having to move on. Papaschtroumpf Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 The problem with Ouro is that it's is run like a task force. So unless it's the 1st mission, you have to run the arc to that mission and then you get stuck in TF mode, can't really do much else with that character. I think I'll keep track a little more carefully of inf gained and run times to see how those are different from running AE.

The traditionally known demon map, the outdoor city, is Harvey maylor.
