ChrisMoses
I'm looking to work on upgrading my build from my current serviceable one to an expensive, awesome one. I don't have any problems with run of the mill stuff, but I do run an S/L farm occasionally, and I realize I'm relying on Inspirations and Incarnate stuff perhaps more than I should. There are a couple of obvious things I intend to do - More +Reg/+Recov Uniques, and I've got a full Brute ATO set to slot (though could use suggestions on which power), I've heard a lot about switching to Performance Shifter in Stamina (though I feel starved for slots as is) but I'm open for any suggestions. My main concern is that I could get some more important set bonuses if I just focused in other areas more. Werner
As I recall, and I could recall incorrectly, in olden days a Performance Shifter proc averaged more endurance recovery than a blue in Stamina. These days I'd have to check the PPM rules, and I really should, since I'm assembling my build as we speak. OK, looks like the PPM should do just what it says in this case. Spreadsheet says 1.5 PPM, and 10 endurance when it procs. So 15 endurance per minute, or 0.25 EPS. What about a +5 standard IO in stamina? Empty build with Stamina on is 2.08 EPS, with the IO is 2.3 EPS, so the IO is contributing 0.22 EPS. So yes, it looks like the Performance Shifter proc is still better on average than slotting even a +5 blue. I'd love to hear someone confirm that, though. Edit: Well... is the proc 10 endurance, or 10% of your max endurance if higher? Because I'm pretty sure Stamina is of max, so if Performance Shifter is 10% of base, then that would draw average performance pretty even. HelenCarnate
10% and it is random but does seem to average out to 1.5 per min. Sometimes it will proc 10 seconds after, other times it may take 1 min or more. I just watched my combat log while sitting doing nothing else to see how long it would take to proc 15 times. I started the timer as soon as I saw the first proc and did not count that one. It took 9 min and 20 seconds to proc 15 more times. My sample size is quite small but right around that 1.5 average. The character I tested on has 101.8 endurance and each proc was 10.18. Edit That being said Panacea, although a lower percent popped off far more often, causing it to give even better recovery on average, even though the amount per proc is a little less. 2nd test run. 10 min 10 seconds 15 Performance Shifter Procs x 10.18 = 152 / 610 = .249 22 Panacea procs x 7.64 = 168.08 / 610 = .275 So really would need a much longer test to see which is better (I try to use both). Werner
Thank you for checking and testing how it worked. I have a bid in on a Performance Shifter now. Already have the Panacea.

Have you tried AV/GM killing with this bad boy or is it mostly for mobs and story gameplay? I'm wondering if I'd need two separate builds to accomplish that.
