Which controllers work with CoH/Homecoming?

 

Which ones are recommended?

 

Anyone else try 3dRudder?

You can directly set the buttons on an Xbox One controller in the keybinds section of the options menu. It works well but the buttons are limited since you can't bind any of them as a shift or alt key.

I've just started using 3DRudder (https://www.3drudder.com/) - I like it a lot, but the left-right foot control is not nearly as accurate as using the mouse-aiming. I'm using the keyboard option which uses WASD and QE for movement - but I wonder if I could map it to a joystick controller to get better control? Anyone out there who has tried such a thing? I still need my keyboard for commands, so I can't ditch the keyboard completely. (I do have a 10-button Corsair mouse, but that's not nearly enough for this game.)
