Xoza's Characters & Creations

 

City of Heroes has always been great for character creation, inspiration and creative freedom. I have created so many in a short amount of time I have had to designate a page per archetype in character selection. Here is just a place I could centralize and share all my creations and ideas. Not only do these characters have fitting outfits, they've some fitting names and inspirations. 

 

I eventually resorted away from creating characters, to just creating outfits or AE groups/characters to share. Enjoy!

  • Xoza: Main character and first advanced archetype. A Kheldian bound being of several lifetimes, across many worlds and realms.

  • Nebulum / Xoza Shadow:

  • Novae / Novaeh (Fire/Fire): Traveling the stars in an alternate timeline or distant future. A celestial event sent her to Paragon giving her abilities.
  • Zer'0 (Rifle/Katana): Borderlands 2 Inspired.
  • Azureus (Pistol/Ninja): Azureus Rising Inspired
  • Mayhem Man (Blaster Fire/Atomic)*: Allstate Mayhem Man Inspired.
  • Nova Terra (Beam/Mental): Nova from Starcraft and did quite a few costume designs for her.
  • Vizla*: Star Wars: The Old Republic and Polar Movie costumes.
  • Xenchi (Psy/Ninja): Mortal Kombat Inspired.
  • Tanya (Pistol/Dev): Command & Conquer Inspired.
  • Gun'Kata (Pistol/Ninja): Equalibrium Inspired.
• BRUTE
  • Nebulae / Nebulem (Rad/Fire): AE Farmer, Orphaned daughter of Nebula, defender of Perez Park.
  • Kyber (Katana/Energy): "Jedi" Kyber Crystal Inspired.
  • Vayder (BS/Will): Darth Vader Inspired.
  • Aug (SJ/Inv): Deus Ex Augmented

  • Chell (Grav/Kin): Portal Inspired. Escaped a test chamber after an incident.
  • Gravaton (Grav/Time): Spacetime Things.
  • Dni (Illu/Time): Myst Inspired.
  • Mei Zing (Ice/Ice): Overwatch Inspired.
  • Toastem (Fire/Kin): AE Famer, Professor Membrane (Invader Zim) inspired.
• CORRUPTOR
  • Rayn (Water/Storm): Mortal Combat Inspired.
  • Lectric (Elec/Elec):
  • Khamelion (Rad/Pois): Reptilian Villain
  • Seven Six (AR/Traps): Overwatch Inspired
• DEFENDER
  • Alex Denton (Kin/Rad): First Defender from live. Inspired by Deus Ex. Focused on 'nano-augmentation'. Buffing friends and guaranteeing a hit on enemies.
  • Mendalara (Pistol/Pain): Inspiration from Lara Croft and Mandalorian combined into a support/healer/mender.
  • Rafae (Emp/Fire): Rafaela from Mobile Legends.
  • Electralite (Elec/Elec): Enjoys jogging, and drinking Enrique!
  • Starframe (Beam/Bub): Freespace (and other space/starship games) Inspired
  • Venya (Emp/Psi): A name I grabbed I thought was cool, not sure what to use it for yet.

  • Meditation (Mind/Psi): Rework of my very first city of heroes character on live, Controller Grav/Storm at the time.
  • Teslia / Tezlia (Elec/Elec):
  • Yuri Prime (Mind/Psionic): Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Yuri's Revenge.
  • Dija (Mind/Dark): Dark Demoness.
• MASTERMIND
  • Cybernet / Cyber.net (Robo/FF): My first villain character on live, bubs-n-bots. Cyberpunk Inspired now.
  • Tactic (Merc/Devices): Military/Service Inspired.
  • NG Resonance (Thug/Sonic): Deus Ex Inspired.
• SENTINEL
  • D'Va (Energy/Energy): Overwatch Inspired
  • Algor (Ice/Ice): Plan was an Ice Dragon.
  • Imorgon (Beam/Elec):
  • Praefecta (Energy/Energy):
  • Agent 67 (Pistol/Reflex): Hitman Inspired
  • Ranger Star (Pistol/Arrow): Texas Ranger
• SCRAPPER
  • Teras Kasi: Kin/Energy - Martial Artist inspired by Star Wars. Embodiment of power, honed to defeat others who would abuse their powers.
  • Matukai (Staff/Regen): Star Wars polearm specialist.
  • Kitana (Dual/Bio): Mortal Kombat Inspired.
  • Metra: Had Star Wars reference, but don't remember what it was.
• STALKER
  • Arcstalker / Arcstaff (Staff/Elec): Destiny 2 Inspired.
  • Nina'Ja (Kitana/Ninjitsu): My first live scrapper, reworked to be more 'Ninja'. A forsaken and dishonored Tsoo warrior.
  • Vizla (Claw/Dark):
  • Vapo (Psi/Dark):
• TANK
  • Bull Rush / Bull'Rush (Shield/Sav): Lots of cow puns. Abducted rancher found himself a Rikti science experiment.
  • Edna (Shield/Street)*: "no capes!" Thought it would be great to give her a cape.
  • Megablock (Titan/Inv): Cyberpunk Inspired

Base Design

Goals for my base layout / design.

• Above Ground - Future Roman City / Praetoria design. - Signs of battle.
  • Citadel - Tallest building, houses governing body, most defenses. Bunker Below
  • Library - Books/Magic/Experimentation
  • Armory / Airfield - Weapons, Aircraft, Runway, Attack Sub Below
  • Medical Center - Health/Revive, close to the armory and citadel.
  • Deployment Station - Teleporters
  • Power Station - 
  • Shipping / Truck Docks. - Maybe a Train yard?
  • Exterior buildings/landscaping.
  • Fountains, Water, Greenery
  • Graveyard.
  • Bus Lines - Teleporters
• Below Ground
  • Subway stations. - Connects most areas.
  • Substation
  • Sewers
  • Bunker
  • Escape Tunnels - Links the citadel, medical center and armory/airfield.

Ummm, okay...

Not sure what I was expecting here, pages and pages of great name/costume

combinations perhaps but I'm glad that worked out for someone, I guess?

I'm getting there, will take time to build up, this is just a drop thread, where I can drop, share and document things I come up with.

There's no board specific for this, not sure where else I would put it except Art/Media.
Hope you enjoy it as I grow it!
