  1. Today is March 27, 2025. A Thursday. A new costume contest is tomorrow night. The last winners shown AGAIN are not from last week.. they are from TWO weeks ago. The theme described for "This Friday's theme" is not THIS Friday's theme.. it's LAST Friday's Theme. Here's a thought; call me insane: post new themes and new winners the day AFTER new contests. Anyone not noticing the pattern of very late updates will be sitting down to create an "emotion" costume for 3-28-2025.. a date for which none of us yet know what theme will be required.
  2. New costume rewards are good. Mini-pets.. I suppose there's a demand for those. Though if I get no power from a badge I don't need no stinking badges the collection of such is entertainment for many others. The accolade powers.. are they of any use anywhere else outside of the Labrynth? (I see a new popup tray appears that I haven't figured out how to remove if possible). Auras are good, too; goes along with costumes I like creating piece by piece (I was never into whole costumes that cannot be mixed/matched; I prefer pieces/parts to explore my own imagination). I've run around the Labrynth myself for a few hours. Thought I might actually benifit from the 2 incarnate shifts I've had forever without much content to challenge them. Well.. nope; only the 1 level shift is in effect to start off the Labrynth. When you gain an extra shift so do the enemies.. what's the point then of gaining level shifts? Labrynth is interesting for being new. Unbound level shift inspirations are nice.. I'll sell those when I find 'em (will they work in other areas?) I can skip the costumes. Points.. that's what I want. Xp, Influence, Prismatics, Aethers, Reward Merits, salvage quantities.. ya get those anywhere. Challenge.. want that too. Sure Labrynth is challenging. You'll never get better at fighting through it. Power you gain is also gained by the mobs. Having said all that.. I will be going back in. The tanker I took did manage to solo the first mob I came across after a 20 minute fight.. won't be doing that again. I'll be running past everything looking to stack up collections of the few loot drop types that actually do something. Anyway.. fantastic work, Homecomming; really. You've made something that will entertain many. Myself.. I still don't need no stinking badges 🙂 Oh.. while I'm thinking of what appeals to me lemmie mention again: Hey.. attach some Reward Merits to Devs' Choice AE arcs! There's some great imaginations out there. The lack of even 3 to 5 Reward Merits in AE arcs is what keeps me from exploring the creations of others.
  3. I found it. The keyword search I originally used in general discussion bypassed the server topic page.
  4. The chaotic play style is for the same reason drivers don't pass in the passing lane. Those controllers not waiting for mobs to gather close together are not thinking of what they can do WITH you. They are only thinking of what they can do. I never grasped the lack of not-so-abstract thought. When on a team I see what others are doing as extra powers of which I may take advantage. A tanker joins my controller; I'm thinking "hey.. now I can herd! What powers of mine will be more effective on tighter mobs?" Of course I'm not the one doing the herding. What the tanker is doing feels like a passive power for which I just have to wait to take effect. Thinking so I have much more fun with assault riffle blasters' full auto. Oh my.. herd 'em up, Beef Boy.. I'll wait. The point is: people don't think beyond themselves. That seems the nature of common thought. It's not a fast lane. It's a passing lane. PASS! Remaining silent won't help. Speak. Say wait. If the controller gets mad THEN avoid the player in the future. If the player doesn't get mad something had been realized and a team player has been born to go forth and think of how to accent powers in combination with others.
