  1. titan network keeps sending mixed signals on how they feel about homecoming and I honestly doubt they'll share code. In the same article about titan website being merged with homecoming. Tonyv gives instructions on how to delete your account if you're worried about the merge rather than clearing up misplaced fears. This version of mids is a crack like pines was right? I seem to recall the original mids developer not wanting to continue development and then someone cracked it and made pines and here we are now with a cleaner version called reborn. Seems like someone smart will do the same someday for titan sentinel if not write something entirely different.
  2. Need someone to take over titan sentinel also and make it point to a new website for homecoming so we can do our badge tracking there. You can still download the program but cannot login into city info tracker with it.
  3. Been awhile since I ran into a bugged door lol. The mission door is incorrectly marked and sends you to a family longbow event raid door.... But the actual mission door is across the street inside of another building. Attached screenshots... You'll notice if you zoom into the map that the actual location is indeed in another building despite the door navigation pointing to the wrong door. correct building.jpg displays the structure you first need to enter and actual mission door.jpg displays the entry door to the mission.
  4. You do get less when grouped, less inf and less xp. Its like a 50% penalty per person joining you too. I don't remember it being this way before and just assumed its a homecoming change.
  5. Energy transfer did get buffed already in all of its versions archetype and epic. It happened around the time they added the 5 power to ever epic pool. Problem with aoe for energy melee has the same problem all sets have with that stupid jump up and spin aoe. It sucks like hell on every set.... mace, claws, widow, fire melee, ice melee. Its a terrible dumb looking aoe that doesn't do enough damage for every set that animation is a part of.
  6. Don't know if this is a bug pertaining to this patch or if it's been this way for quite some time. You cannot get the superior version of this io without using the merit vendor or buying one someone is already selling on the market. When you attempt to upgrade using a catalyst you won't have it as option.
  7. not actually it isn't.... You can get close to tank level by focusing on your sets strongpoints and boosting others. If you put all of your ios into defense/resist sets (which then you're giving up slotting recharge)Also some brutes don't benefit from as high of defense as the same powerset does on a scrapper. Try playing a super reflexes brute on 50+4 x8 vs a scrapper and see the results. Furthermore Brutes can't obtain the amount of hitpoints/regen a tank and its dullpain/heal powers are also weaker than the tanks. Tanks on the other hand can get defense/resist even easier w on the tank So you can focus on recharge and +damage setbonus on the tank. Or if you're more inclined you can focus on being more of universal tanker and grab those resist sets. here things like weave/combat jumping/maneuvers provide higher stats
  8. I can promise you without a doubt that they'll never put a set price on items. That totally kills the free market and people would blow there tops over it and with good reason. They have already killed the salvage market by seeding it and some of the atos. You can rest assured nothing will ever approach 2 bil because you can obtain any single item at a maximum of 100 reward merits. 100 reward merits = 100 mil.(Visit a reward merit vendor and convert inf into reward merits.) Anyone can afford to have purpled out characters at a much faster rate than you'd ever get them live.

  10. Still too high for the highest defense at and were still changing the at and game to something it was never meant to be.
  11. I adapted on day one by not asking for something to be buffed and not changing the game to what i prefer it to be. I accepted hey this is a tank and it isnt going to do damage like a dps at. The only people here crying are those that want to change the game.
  12. The only time I’ve run into the “broken” issue you’re describing is when I slot it in burn. Burn seems to do really weird stuff with knockdown procs.
  13. Do you realize how stupid that statement is? tanks are meatshields, this is what they are supposed to be, not damage.

Besides world of pain and kinetics (maybe im forgetting another aoe damage buff?) there's no reason why you'd have lots of +damage from a league unless you were on a team with buffers and I doubt you were. It would only take you one kin with decent recharge build using siphon power and fulcrum for most all group content to get you into the new damage cap.

  16. I think we already covered this as a false statement. Not even needing reds or even tray fulls. There's also super inspirations, superpack buffs, team inspirations, Incarnate, pain domination.Then not having to focus as much on defensive set bonuses when you can instead go for damage/recharge.
  17. Oh so now they can't take advantage of the new damage cap? Why not? Do they not get affected by buffs like everyone else does?

  19. I duo with a well built fire kin and getting damage capped on a non super strength character isn't hard. Again you're still missing the point. When one decides to make a tank they make them knowing they are a tank, not dps, never meant to even become close to dps. You can't have best defense and high damage and expect it to be balanced. It remained this way for 23 issues and here we are trying to break what wasn't broken. Even have the powers dev admitting his bias and vision for tanks. I recently finished my tank builds from live and yeah I see how much the damage sucks and it sucks as much I remember them but that's not what I made them for. I made them for group content, incarnates and boss fights when I feel like playing the tank. during those extremes when the rest of the team just can't pull it and I'll bring the tank. Won't be much of a point investing in the brute, I'll just bring the tank to all the group content now and get the best of both worlds.
  20. And this sir or madam is how you break things. You only assume one outcome and dont consider them all.
  21. Increasing the damage bonus cap to 600% is a dramatic change. There's now way to sugar coat or skirt around that.... The tank will now be dps + highest defenses, an entirely different at than it once was.
  22. Thing is I'd actually agree to an offensive/defensive toggle if you gave it to everyone. But then we'd be champions online and again that would be a radical change. I don't get why you'd want to dramatically change an entire AT. Look at the offensive/defensive toggles for bio armor. EVEN THERE The paragon devs made it so if you use offensive toggle; you get damage but suffer a -resistance penalty while using the defensive toggle gives you a -damage ability. So even if you did give tanks an offensive/defensive mode you'd have to follow the same fashion. Cant give them both easy max defense and a high damage cap and expect it to be balanced.
  23. Depends on the pizza. I like the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Pizza from papa johns / pizza hut. Barbecue sauce instead of pizza sauce Grilled Chicken Bacon Onion Pineapples. And back when they still had more crust options Id get the smokehouse barbecue crust at pizza hut while at papa johns I get the new round pan crust. Superb pizzas.
  24. Im not a brute player. Like you (i expect) probably have tons of alts. What I dont want to see happen is the tank turned into a brute the only difference here being the tank doens't have a fury bar and can't reach a damage bonus as easily on its own. But it still reach a very high number of damage that it was never meant to have with this change. I have basically no problem with the other tanker changes but im 100% opposed to giving tanks the bonus damage increase.
  25. Got no problems with changes just not radical changes. When you want to give an AT that is meant to be a tank a damage buff comparable to a damage character you may as well make a new AT. You're fundamentally changing the tanker to something it was never meant to be. We should not even be having this discussion....
