If you need some RP practice, im more than happy to RP with you, super casual nothing crazy. I know the feeling of not really have much to do because of the lack of active people around you, and the urge to jump ship for something better. I extend a formal handshake to thee! I also have a Plant/Thorn, I enjoy it it is a lot of fun, one thing I'd say is to build with endurance reductions in mind and some recovery set bonuses with two attuned enhancements. I'm still workshopping it, really trying to perfect it, i have 14 hp/sec and like 4 regen/sec lol (id like 20HP/SEC), as of right now soloing, +1 with team size 1ish probably to 3, he's sturdy, especially with your plant pet. I impulsively slotted enhancements and realized it needed to get more set bonuses and re-slot stuff, so don't make the mistake I did, focus Recovery bouns and then regen, and whatever third you want to boost. I am running Stealth and Infiltration with full defense sets as well. Ripper in thorny assault is doing 200+ damage so decent damage. Hope that helps.

I'm a tad late, been enjoying CoH and seeing the influx of new and old players, and players that had no idea it was back! I was away for a few months, but when I heard this it excited me to come back and experience a childhood MMO I've always loved, yes I said childhood, I was 14 or 15 at the time, I'm 31 now, and still love it. Im very proud to be a part of this community, the help I received as a returning player was astounding, and now I'm doing the same for players new and old returning. I hope this game continues to be one of the best.

I started playing 2007 after seeing FF4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, I was 15. My first character i made was inspired by Silver Surfer. Now I'm 30. It was my first MMO, but i got sucked into WoW for 18 years. I'm tired of WoW and only ever came back for an expansion, except this one that is coming out, I'm retiring it for good. I remember looking for CoH for so long after 2012, could never find it, and found out it was closed. Didn't really have much time with it, i was itching to get back to it and build more characters, so I'm glad to finally play. Been playing on Homecoming since it went Live.

No, not AE, just original RP story-lines built and told out in the actual game zones, yeah exactly with RWZ area you could totally RP off of that whole area and use it. You could medics in the Vangaurd base and groups up RP doing excursions out to take back parts of the zone, and add in even more exploring based RP for those that don't want to do any combat. The possibility's are endless really.

I remember hearing about this, thank you! I'll definitely consider this, get rid of the level barrier. Yeah, having these bases that are already made for RP and we dont have to worry about actual NPC mobs, and allow for all levels to join, yeah. lol i might have been to enthusiastic with the whole zone RP, but i think starting out here would be better, get a good RP base first and the experiment outside super-bases a little. So I joined an RP group awhile ago, but it was pretty dead for the most part, but i noticed one of the events they use to do was a full city Immersion RP, example: The Night Ward, for a few hours a whole day, everyone in the zone are mostly RPing, maybe specifically the ones that have an affinity for the dead and occult, or and affiliation with the Midnight Squad, but anyone would be welcome. Instead of being cooped up in Pocket D or the Bases for a a little bit, we could dedicate a whole zone for RP, and all RPer's could "set up shop" literally and figuratively. I'd love to do this, but id need other dedicated RPer's who would want to help plan something of this scale, or have planned these type of events. My goal is to have a fully immersive experience in each zone for a full day, letting it unfold organically, players can set up shops, markets, merchants.... advertise super groups, casual RP to hero team up RP, id like to get more Hero RP going since i see a lot of casual RP and social RP on Everlasting for the most part, but all RP would be welcome, i want to create a space for that RP, Hero Team Up, sidekicks, personal story arcs, even origin stories. Theoretically, id love it to be a monthly thing starting out until we see how logistically tedious it is, then we can move it to something like every other week to weekly, and even extend the "Zone RP" duration for more immersion, all things are possible. ((Hopefully this a thread, let me know your ideas, message me on here or under this topic, let me know if you'd be interested in helping create something like this and attend it. My global is @CherokeeMan2000 same as this user lol, i guess thats a given.

Its been pretty quiet here for a while, but I thought I'd at least take the first step and say something and see if the ball will still roll! I really like the RP a Day Idea, and the "Zone Immersion" almost bring an entire area to life, I love that idea and would love to see it come back, if it ever left of course. I know most of the RP is on Everlasting, but I wanted to introduce myself and, maybe if there are others on Excelsior who are looking for RP, then we can center some type of OOC discussion around here, I'd love to see more RP on Excelsior even if its very niche. You can call me CM, but in game my character on EX is Manamagus.... here me out lol. Manamagus isn't your average superhero..... really not one at all, he is a Dwarf who unearthed at an odd time, and is now living (and fighting along side) super-powered-surface-dwellers.
