  2. they already are a staff of volunteers. They already volunteer time effort energy and resources for Homecoming. Mids Works.. Its is perfect no. is it better than nothing.. yes.
  3. OMG you people should be ashamed for gatekeeping !!!! I just got this guy finished and IO'd out and it ROCKS and I dont even completely have it down pat yet.. but throwing out a sleep or the fear and then using TK to get them in a tight little ball and then mow em down with AoEs?/ CRAZY !!!!!!!!!! thanks everyone for all the advice and the help !!!
  4. Thanks... Appreciate that knowledge.. this is going to be a tight build for slots.. I can see that already..
  5. Thanks to everyone. This was a lot of help !!!
  6. So from what I can see the skippable powers are the single target confuse and the single target sleep ?
  7. What were the changes to Telekinesis? All I remember is from live there was very much a love/hate relationship with the power and that it was difficult to use.
  8. The Dev team here has nothing to do with Mids. They didnt make it or create it.
  9. Happy to have a bunch of VOLUNTEER people working on something FOR FREE that helps the community, even if it has occasional bugs and mishaps. Thank you Mids Team for keeping me entertained and burining through respecs all these years LOL
  10. No i wasnt.. although I do play on Excelsior.... LOL
  11. I have a Fire/Psi dom that I kinda dont like. But I havd a nice origin story so I thought why not flip it to Mind/Fire.. but Ive never played Mind before.. What are the core must have powers. Telekinesis seems like its a hard power to use.. so is it skippable. Im probably going to play at range mostly.. and honesty not having a pet seems like a good idea for me.. Any advice would be appreciated.. Thank You
  12. Blappers I have played.. Nrg/Nrg-Energy Hits hard and can stun foes into next week.. E3 ( Elec/Elec/Elec)- This build had ranged damage. blaps, three single target holds AND End Draining DP/MA- TP in with Burst of Speed, Hit the Dragon Tail, Storm Kick someone and then leap off their friggin chest with Eagles Claw (most stylish attack in the game), land really cool and then shoot em in the face with Executioners shot.. NEVER gets old but the best I played.. Rad/Fire.. a PbAoE monster.. I used to hold one of the doors on a BAF by myself.. nothing got past.. and for the record... my Fire/Rad Sentinel is better ( lol )
  13. Im looking for ideas to make a Beam Rifle Sentinel and figured a Spartan might be a good idea.. but im not great with costumes.. Anyone have any designs that could start as base idea? Thanks in advance
  14. Even if you arent going full incarnate ( and I dont on the majority of my characters ), but for example.. one of my characters I know is sitting @ Vet level 22. So in two more levels I get 20 Emp merits which I could for another character.. That little bit of information across multiple character could be useful, isnt game breaking, and is just a nice QoL feature.
  15. Lets see... My Fire/Rad Sent uses Fire Cages to keep everyone nice and bunched together to keep mobs scattering from Rain of Fire. And uses Fire Sword Circle as part of his PbAoE attack chain with Fireball @ close range, Ground Zero and Inferno.. That works pretty good. My Dark Bio uses Dark Mastery Netherworld Tentacles and Engulfing Darkness in combination with Umbral Torrent and Dark Obliteration as a Nice AoE Spam.. and since the immobilize keeps them in place They are all nice and bunched for Parasitic Leach.. AND Netherworld Grasp gives a very nice attack with 5 damage procs... My Water/Ice uses Ice Mastery Frostbite to keep everyone bunched up for Whirlpool. Now they cant run out of Whirlpool and they take ALL the DoT from it.. And Block of Ice is a nice place for 5 Damage procs. My Cold/Inv does the same but uses Frostbite so that mobs cant scatter when dropping Ice Storm and Blizzard. And once again Block of Ice is a nice place for 5 Damage procs. ( hmm mayge I should call it Block of Nice ) Elec/Elec uses Electric Mastery Chain Fences to once again.. Immobilize everyone.. and keep them in place for Short Circuit/Power Sink combo to drain them.. Its -End along with Lightning Field from the same pool damaging and ticking -end... to keep their end floored.. which in turn helps trigger the Shocked Mechanic so they take even MORE damage... My Rad/Rad gets two Extra AoEs with Static Dischange and ThunderStrike The Storm/Energy uses Electricfying Fences again to keep everyone nice and bunched up for Storm Cell and Category 5 to rain down on them and Static Discharge adds a nice additional ranged AoE attack . And lastly Psi/Regen uses Psi Mastery uses Mass Hypnosis to just put everyone to sleep. Hits Psychic Focus, Psychic Shockwave and then Psychic Wail.. and Once again.. Dominate very nice attack with 5 damage procs.. What did Eric Clapton say ?? ITS IN THE WAY THAT YOU USE IT....
  16. This would be a nice Quality of Life addition. For Example if I knew a character was @ veteran level 20. I know @ 21 that character gets Emp merits, that would probably make me want to play that toon to the next vet level. Just a suggestion.
  17. Doubt this is the issue. Current Carrion Creeper Accuracy in my build is 117%
  18. The game tells you off the bat that controllers are weaker, have less offensive powers and have fewer hit points. And as someone else said the original design of the MMO is to create an environment of team play, where characters benefit from one another. Controllers were the only AT at the outset that had Crown Control abilities as well as Buffs and Debuffs to aid teams. Yes initially they struggle on their own until they gain more powers and eventually enhancements that increase their abilities.. Controllers are also very much affected by power selection. Some builds can do very good damage. Some struggle with it. But all controllers can become extremely self sufficent.
  19. I know they made a lot of changes, and I was never into the Proc' bombing aspect of the power. But what I am seeing is that when I spawn it on the first mob, it seems to act like it always didnt spawning a vine for each foe in the area and attacking them.. Ie I attack a mobs of six.. I get six vines.. Then when I go after the next mobs of six.. I seem to get less vines.. Like there is always one or two people that arent getting vines spawned on them.. In addition while it might be rooting the foes. often times there is no animation showing that they are rooted. Maybe its jus visual ? Or is there something others have noticed.
  20. While the new controls can be somewhat annoying at first if you are not used to them, what I did is what I learned to do was summon the pet and then drop and drag the different Icons into a power tray. This allows me to use the button to easily change behavior. One of the most useful is the " Goto " command. I can use that command to make the pet(s) engage first, drawing inital aggro and then follow up with holds. debuffs or attacks. Very very useful. Especially for pets like Singularity which has a habit sometimes of staying slightly out of range.
  21. Yup... and they could have just made it slightly less effective instead of nerfing it to nothingness
