  2. Id feel weird as a hero being " smuggled " my Rogues.. sure yes they all about it.. even the vigilantes wouldnt mind.. but the heroes?? The questions.. The shame.. LOL

  4. Yes I know we can set it to Auto.. and Yes I know we cam set up binds to make it fire when moving.. I do that.. but the other day on a TF I had my domination drop Twice while zoning to the next mission because I wasnt able to click it. Just annoying... Would be nice if there was a way to make this happen.
  5. Not true.. I was able to test thing by slotting the Overwhelming Force -KB.. and they no longer knock anything back. Problem is that IO is Unique.. you cant slot more than one.. My Elec/Storm has that in Tornado so it cant be slotted in Gremlins.. and Gremlins cant take the Sudden Acceleration because Gremlins Cant take KB IO SETS.. although the can be slotted with generic KB IOs
  6. Exactly what happens with my Dominator.. AND if I could slot KB sets I could slot the Sudden Acceleration -KB...
  7. Enhance Knockback is listed as a IO that can be slotted into Gremlins.. but they cannot take KB enchancements sets? Shouldnt they be able to take KB sets to either enhance or eliminate KB if desired?? Gremlins knocking foes OUT of patches is kinda bothersome IMO
  8. As I said.. while I realize my build is a level 50 maxed character.. It took me SIXTY attacks with rage crashes to kill the end bar on my WP/SS tank with all the incarnates turned off and he has no accolades to help with endurance,,
  9. Shouldnt the Ferry from PI and Talos also go there? I mean it just makes sense.. And shouldnt the two level 50 hero zones be connected somewhow?? I can get from Grandville to Khallista by submarine but I cant get from PI to Khallista by boat?
  10. It wasnt meant to be harsh. But honestly the game has many tools it in to help you become SUPER.. Logically if you are a new starting hero, you will become more powerful as you progress and get stronger and learn how to use your powers and abilities better.. All the different enhancements, SOs, IOs, ATOs, Hami-Os, Icarnate abilities, Accolades. and the multiple different ways of getting them.. Drops, Spending Influence/Infamy on The Markets, Reward and Emp Merits, I means its really all there.. Mids Reborn.. A community designed hero planner that has been around for 20 years to help people learn how to make characters more effective, and the community itself with so manty players who have made builds and written guides to help others.. It really is at your fingertips.. Eric Clapton said it... " It's in the way that you use it " if you chose not to use all the different things that in place.. well......
  11. I looked at some of the discussion on this thread. This is exactly the reason that I wrote this guide. Endurance is purposefully in the game to be a limiting factor. This type of mechanic is in many types of games. Some games (like fighting games) you cant use a power until you build up a reserve. There are games with magic use and spells you cant cast unless you have enough " mana ", etc etc. Ive played TTRPG/PNP Superhero games since the early 80s and you have to have endurance or stamina to use your powers and you have to account for that usage. Its a COMMON game mechanic that is not exclusive to CoH at all. One of the most common things that I see is a misunderstanding of what happens as you level. Powers get MORE expensive to use. Yes that MEGA AoE Attack that you use.. Yes it costs a lot of end.. You got hasten so you can use it more often? Well guess what.. now your burning through your end more often.. AND when Hasten shuts down guess what.. End Cost when it shuts off because your " exhausted " You MUST learn how to build your characters.. You HAVE to... Its critical to being effective.. LEARN the mechanics of the game. There are mechanics built in the game to HELP YOU overcome some of the limitations.. Now this madness about playing a WP Tank and attacking 3-5 times and your end bar being totally drained?? Someone is doing something serious wrong.. Now I admit I have an end game centric build with IOs ( and this is part of learning HOW to build your character ) but my WP/SS tank with his Incarnate shut off ( because Vigor has end redux ) and rage on Auto.. so it will cause a rage end crash when it shuts down. With ELEVEN toggles running ( including focused accuracy ) and cycling the end heaviest powers every time that came up.. it took SIXTY ONE attacks before my end bar died... I took my TW/EA Scrapper and attacked a dummy in RWZ.. That build is mostly AoE attacks.. With hasten running and cycling the AOE attacks as much as I could it took 40 attacks before my end bar completely crashed out.. and that was with running TEN Toggles Thats not using any End reducing Incarnate powers or Ageless Destiny Incarnate power. and NONE of my builds use the Atlas Medallion or the Portal Jockey Accolade powers that give you more end.. Read the guide.. hope the tips help. And there are people that have more tips that me.. And LEARN to build your characters.. Seriously..

  15. New Update.. The Shield/Savage Melee is AWESOME. Its just fun.. with Spring Attack nicely proc'd he has three Teleporting AoE attacks.. just fun hopping around mob to mob.
  16. Functioning in my self proclaimed role of the champion defender of the Sentinel AT.. Vulnerability is perfectly fine. Vulnerability is Auto-Hit and ignores level differences. Vulnerability debuffs the following: Damage Resistance Defense Mez Resistance Stealth Resistance to Endurance, Endurance Discount, Recovery, Regeneration, ToHit, and Recharge Very few things in the game Debuff as much as it does.. as many things as it does.. To one target and it is AUTO HIT.. It works.. PERIOD.. Is the Tank chided because it doesnt do as much damage as the brute or scrapper. Is the Brute chided because it doesn to as much AoE damage as the tank? Is the Stalker chided because it isnt as tough as any of the other ATs and its main focus is single target damage in most cases? Are Defenders who dont heal looked down on ? Here is the reality the viability of an AT IMO is really about two things.. The Player.. and the specific build, how functional you are is dependent on power choices and your build. For Example off the top of my head. My Fire/Rad Sentinel Single target attacks- Flares, Fire Blast, Blaze, Blazing Bolt. AoE attacks- FireBall, Fire Sword Circle, FireCages/Rain Of Fire Combo (I always use them together), Inferno, Ground Zero ( heavily Proc'd). Pyronic from Incarnate. SO I can do a little bit of everything, Im not limited in my ability at all. And because I have more than One AoE, I can cycle them and always have something ready to use. And as said by @ Exqzr984 on another post A dedicated, skilled Sentinel player knows the value they bring to any fight and this value does not need to be confirmed by anyone else. We know we are often last one standing. We know we can do 90 to 95% percent as much damage as anyone else while at the same time sharing aggro as an off tank, all the while peeling or controlling as needed. My wife, also a Sentinel player (not for lack of trying other ATs) put is best. Who defends the Defenders - Sentinels. Who Plugs the holes the Tank/Brutes miss? - Sentinels. Who chases down the runners - Sentinels? Who holds the line when all else fails? - Sentinels.

  18. It would be great if you could post your build. Most End issues I have seen on builds is usually from horrific slotting. IOs do go a LONG way in end managerment, I would definitely suggest starting to look at how to make IO based builds because it will help. Here is my guide to End Management and Stamina.. Its what people have taught me and what I have learned over the years.

  20. ooooh you know what.. I think I am on performance mode.. But still when I tried chaning the power at a trainer.. it wouldnt even set.. when leaving the trainer it would reset itself back to the original and didnt even consume the tailor token.
  21. Reported this in game and then was told to report it here. Excelsion (sp) Force Field Option not working Windows: Playing on a Bots/FF Mastermind. Tried to change to the new look for force field in PI at Incandescent. While I can chose the option it does not take. Used Free Tailer token. Didnt work. when I exited shield was normal and when I went back to her it didnt show me that the new choice was selected. Also tried this on a blaster with the FF mastery. Also didnt work. So then I tried going to the tailer in Steel Canyon. I can make the choice and it shows I made the choice when leaving, but the graphics dont change at all. It just looks like I picked a regular force field bubble that I can change colors on.. It doesnt look like the Excelsion bubble at all.
  22. what kinds of issues are you having? Mine seems to be working fine.. obviously there isnt a page 2 full updates yet.

Couple of things 1) With all the changes to so many powersets, Some even getting the ability to slot different enhancements, or having new power options.. why were Freespecs not handed out? 2)The new customization option in Force Field doesnt seem to be working. I selected it.. paid a token and it was exactly the same look when leavling the Costume customization.
