I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a bit unpopular for Fold Space as a 'good' power, but not only does it step on Wormhole's job it is actively making things easier for ATs that need the least help in game. And is actively dangerous to people that can't survive up to 16 mobs aggro. So it's basically only helpful in helping people level faster and easier to those that... actually need it the least. For traps, it might be a nice buff to an AT powerset. Maybe give Time bomb a half power version so that it isn't a waste. I'm just a bit inured at this point. The Devs think this is a a great way to add combat power to Teleport, except its still much better for some people than others. Then in 6+ months they are going to discover that players have used it to break some trial or task force to make it utterly trivial and then they'll be forced to 'rebalance it' so that its not as good, which will just upset everyone again.
  2. And you are now speaking for everyone as if he was the only one that had teleport on any character. Which also includes me.
  3. Some of these badges require knowing where they are and actively hunting them to find them. You aren't going to just randomly run into some of them unless you scour whole zones for them. That is not 'finding them organically' while playing the game.
  4. I'm pretty sure they've decided that would defeat the purpose of badge exploration accolades.
  5. Adding a readme.txt file to each one with a basic description should be standard etiquette according to nexusmods.com
  6. The devs have already decided to make it a big time sink of badge collecting. We're just getting caught up in their 'fix' of a problem that wasn't really the problem.
  7. Hmm. I didn't try to do that, but no default binds means you have to bind everything manually. There should have been a default Xbox/PS4 setting or option.
  8. And I found it incredibly useful once it was added to Teleport since I've been teleporting since beta. I would have preferred a shorter teleport and short recharge, but it was very handy to just go 'port to Atlas' and boom I'm gone. Could LRTP have been made more functional with being able to teleport to any open zone like the accolade allows once you've unlocked all zones? Absolutely. It probably should have had them added a long time ago. But replacing it with a power that has melee and traps farmers salivating is just putting us back into 'City of Farmers' like Smoke Grenade had. The other stuff (other than useless group teleport) is nice, but making it a farmer's dream power is just plain silly and short sighted.
  9. How is it 3 extra choices when I was getting teleport friend and teleport as a travel power? Just because you didn't think it was a travel power you wanted, doesn't make LRTP 3 choices. It's one extra choice for a teleporter.
  10. This is the part that doesn't make sense to me. I liked being able to get 'one extra' teleport power that was teleport to other zones. But now that's being taken away and being replaced with something I have to do hours of extra work to get proper functionality for rogues/vigilantes. If they added it with *all* of the extra zones as a power choice, I bet it would be an incentive enough for more people to get, but now they are taking it away from the one extra power choice and then making it a buttload of extra work to 'earn' for free. It looks pretty much like the developers have got their complicated mess of a fix that is going to make no one happy.
  11. I think that might be from trying to install an not-updated mod for this. But I did get the exception column like someone else got.
  12. Well, sort of. Trying to install any of the mods got me back to the file exception error. Manually trying to 'add' mods seems to not work at all and I finally figured out that I have to full screen to get it to see the 'refreshed' mods. It really hates super high definition monitor.s
  13. Finally figured it out. Had to stretch the COH Modder Window to fill the entire vertical area. It really doesn't like UHD monitors with your fonts increased, I guess.
  14. I'm agreeing with you that it doesn't look like yours? Because I literally just downloaded homecoming to 😄 drive, then installed COH Modder to it. Then did the fresh start.
  15. I did now grab 1.64, did a 'fresh start' and now it doesn't complain about the Homecoming folder location, it just won't install any of the mods it downloads to the mods folder. Gives a long exception file error (and you can't even copy paste the error or stretch the window to read it). The information bar at the bottom says it has tons of mods ready to install, but you can't select any of them. 😕
  16. This definitely doesn't work pointing at the root Homecoming folder. The executable files are in the Bin/Win32/live or bin/win64/live (or sub beta for live) and the .piggs are in the assets/live or assets/beta folder. So I don't think COH Modder actually knows how to handle the restructured folders.

  19. I do use a UHD TV for my monitor, so yes I do have to have the fonts boosted to be able to read anything. And I must not be getting the COH Mod installed right in the Bin/Win32/Live folder... It's giving file exceptions.
  20. That is actually where I was before. I'm downloading the Homecoming Launcher now. I guess I get to reinstall. And I may look at Bitdefender, as it was nicely blocking installing HC...
  21. Then I probably do have 4.5 in there also. This Install's been in place for 4 or 5 years of installing 70+ steam games. (Weird, can't copy paste that Win10Pro shows it as part of the OS.) Now I'm getting the Unhandled exception error when I tried to install a mod. Let's see what happens when I try to set the installation folder to the HC-bin64. And now Tequelia to start Homecoming is crashing with missing files. WTF did I do?
  22. Sometimes far from the tram seems to be 'on purpose' in IP and Talos. Good grief was it annoying.
  23. I (thought) I did the fresh start while poking around. Win10 Pro here, fully updated. I was using this for work from home for a while (before they started talking about installing management spy software) so I believe I have the latest .net framework 4.8. I think it also nuked my manually installed mods, but that may be by design.
  24. I think people are worried they have cemented their 'fix' for replacing the enterfrombasecode and don't really care what anyone brings up as a point. I was literally on a Citadel TF today and without having the base code or a good replacement, we probably would have added a good 15-30 minutes of travel time from IP to Talos (back and forth constantly), as this character isn't very flush with money. Faathim was on people that all had Team Teleporter or the like, so it was fine, but not all people or characters have all the tools like that.
