  1. I have to say after playing a brute with SOs from level one, +To-Hit from combat teleport was entirely un-needed. Yay for 'different but not equal' again.
  2. You absolutely don't earn enough inf. I couldn't even afford more than 2 DOs at level 2. So unless you get lucky on the RNG on your first bit of salvage, you are basically SoL on actually being able to buy your enhancements with this upgrade. Or waste precious merits on INF instead. Good job making sure you don't have those later to buy your IO sets you want. 😕
  3. I think I'm going to have to load test and make a newbie to play through the low levels solo. I get the feeling that without playing the market or selling merits, you won't be able to afford the Upgrade-SOs systems. Heck, I've been having problems getting the original TOs/DOs fast enough so I've been dropping a couple of million INF on my lowbies instead.
  4. Now this is a totally big deal. We should never have powers that you could potentially grief people with. Fold space is not a good fit and breaks a lot of things if you look at it hard.
  5. That's pretty normal for how effects work at times, so I'd say less bug, more of limitation on the engine.

I had misjudged what the 'combat' teleport was, so I thought it was better than it was and the change to 'mass teleport up to 16 mobs to you' seems like an incredibly efficient farming device, which makes me wonder what they are thinking about trying to directly make it better for farmers and of very minor use for the squishiest. I'm actually all for combining recall friend/teleport. That's a great quality of life update. A to-hit buff with cool down for a 1/3rd range teleport seems really kind of not as useful, sorry. With a right button macro, I basically have the 'combat' part of teleport self of moving around usefully in combat. To-hit is supposed to be the offensive equal to constant +Def, but it really isn't. My high level IOd characters have scads of to-hit and accuracy buffs, more than I need to hit +4 mobs. So this is not different but equal. +Def (perhaps at 300% more than CJ and Hover but only 25% of the time) would fit better. Group Teleport has always been a pain in the butt to use and if you swapped it out from the summon teammates power, you'd probably have a lot of people taking it except that it's basically a free power to buy. I intensely think that the 'new wormhole' power was not thought out and is heavily skewed to help people that need the least help in grabbing and keeping aggro. The entire concept as a power was broken in wormhole and is now even worse as a power that your super farmers will pick up.
  8. They do have to be able to survive getting that many dragged over to you. You might be able to survive a second of activating one more (maybe!) but likely your squishies are going to be mezzed to hell and hone later on. And why is it that we can't still have the ranged teleport option while anyone can unlock the accolade to? Even if they are made so you can't use both or are exclusive? Shouldn't we have the option of a great utility power (that I don't see used that often) instead of this combat 'teleport whole mobs' power? They literally are merging teleport foe with friend to then replace it with a larger teleport foe group in replacement of a utility power to the detriment of people's builds. I like that the teleport foe is being replaced with a combat power, that actually makes sense. The mass teleport foe actually doesn't. It's basically being put in there as replacement of long range teleport because they are (sorta) giving it to everyone for free-ish. I'd much rather have something like Bifurcation like Trap Door had. Even if it was a gimpy pet version, it would still be cool.
  9. Having to do a major respec so I don't have a summon mobs into melee is going to suck, especially as it's my oldest character. I do have to ask what the heck was the idea behind adding a time-exploration sink to EVERY character to be able to teleport to all zones? That isn't a trivial amount of time and effort once you've gotten the accolade. Can we change it to one particular zone exploration accolade and then at least one exploration badge for those additional badges? And why is teleport's highest level power being changed to a power that really only benefits melee? My defender has no business summoning mobs into melee in mass.
