Ghouls and Goblins, After weeks of spine-chilling suspense and hair-raising entries, we are thrilled to announce the winners of our Halloween Base Contest. The competition was fang-tastic, with entries that raised the spirits of all who dared to enter! As always, I would like to give a monstrous round of applause to all who dared to share their haunted creations. Your efforts and creativity truly made this event a success! But first, a heartfelt round of applause for all of our participants who poured their souls onto the canvas - your passion and creativity truly shone through! The new alphabets do appear noticeably darker and grayer in the item menu... but they should still be just as usable as the original alphabets... just be sure to enable room clipping if you are above or below the base 😉

Happy Easter, Homecoming!! And that announcement means we've reached the end of our 2023 Base Contest deadline! Which now means I am officially accepting bribes for late entries... Over the last 11 weeks we have received 73 submissions of some of the best bases that HC has to offer. Here's how that number looks broken down by category: Multipurpose Base below 7k: 20 Multipurpose Base above 7k: 11 RP Base below 7k: 18 RP Base above 7k: 10 Utility Centers: 14 (Yes, that's right, apologies to the 2 submissions for Utility Center above 7k. We, the judges, felt that wasn't enough entries to be competitive so we've merged the two categories) Now our work begins! Please allow us some time to carefully consider each entry. We are committed to thoroughly touring and inspecting each of these bases using the criteria outlined in the posted rubric. Winners will be announced no later than May 1st, 2023.
