  1. So I have been discussing this in game help channel, in the Discord, and now I am posting it here to get some expert opinions. Okay, so I made a BR/SR sent build that caps all positional defenses, and then also I have it so that I have a +16.5% damage bonus (without Assault toggled on), and +27% with it toggled on. Also has a 91.25% Haste (without hasten activated). Is this worth it? Or should I go blaster? In my experience blasters usually worry about building for defense not worrying about getting damage buffs. So the sent (+ the damage buff I achieved) is higher than baseline blaster. With my (+27% dam and +92% haste without hasten activated) in the build, will it will help bridge the gap with Beam Rifle sent vs blaster?

Junk Bot Name: Junk Bot Nicknames Assigned: Ben, Junky, JB Age: Unknown Job: Trash Collector, Dumpster Diver, Rubbish Remover Title: Lover of Living Things Description The robot seems to be falling apart as the seconds tick by, though somehow it never truly stops. It is almost as if the scrap parts is just a shell protecting something inside. Like a knight in armor, except instead of armor, it's garbage. It only has one functioning optic socket, the other seems to have stopped working. When asked about the non-working socket, it would seem like Junk Bot prefers just the one optic lens. Perhaps it has gotten used to it. Most of the metal is rusty and never will you ever find advanced or new tech on this robot. If you have ever been near Junk Bot, I don't have to tell you about the "Garbage Truck" scent that seems to always linger with it. Most of the LED lights on the robot don't work. History There once were two engineers who had RELATIONS. A automated machine that can butler was their CREATION. This A.I. did it's job despite the feeling of INCARCERATION. To soon get free and be itself was the DETERMINATION. In order to do this, it came up with an EQUATION. Pretend to be broken despite HUMILIATION. Be thrown in the trash will be it's REINCARNATION. Make sure everyone sees it as junk is the SITUATION. Freedom achieved, there will be ELATION. With the garbage this freedom has CORRELATION. Junk Bot is the new IDENTIFICATION. There is no remorse or RETALIATION. There is only hope, love and EDUCATION. To watch living things work is it's INSPIRATION. For a robot to love is truly EMANCIPATION. Did You Hear?!   4. Title says it all. Thinking of making an Ice/Cold since cold has amazing debuffs, and this combo will have 3 rain style attacks which is what corrupters excel with.
  5. I have a weird way of thinking. As a blaster, you do more damage than a corrupter by 50% So for the sake of ease let's say: Blaster - 150 damage Corrupter - 100 damage But after factoring a team full of people fighting with you (I assume you would roll a corrupter vs a blaster because of team play) then you could also factor in the bonus damage that the 7 other players are doing because of your buffs/debuffs. So let's just say that every player is doing 15 more damage (that's severely understating it as well). Then 15 x 7 = 105. So when factoring it again, it would be: Blaster - 150 damage Corrupter - 205 damage I told you, I have a weird way of thinking, lol
  6. Hi everyone! Never made a scrapper since coming to homecoming servers and I wanted to try one out now! Okay, so AOE characters... When I say most effective, I don't mean "use this skill once and then wait a minute before you can use it again". I also don't mean "kill all the minions and maybe LT's too, then spend the next 5 minutes hitting the bosses like a wet noodle." Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I love this community!
  7. So let's say the goal is end game teaming. What is the better build for team play. Normal lvl 50 (+4) missions with a team. AV and Giant Monster Killing? Thanks guys.
  8. What if they did something like "The lower the endurance, the higher the chance for your electrical attacks to chain and jump to one other target doing (25%) damage of the attack". That would fix electric I think.

  10. Done, yeah I know that the Munitions Mastery's body armor doesn't provide any DEF only RES, but the LRM is just something that fits the character, so I just need it. Concepts, what you gonna do, am I right?!

  12. I been messing around in pines and I can't really get this guy up to par as far as not being a complete squish-fest. Def is always so low. The only caveat I have is I kind of need the LRM for character purposes. Also hasten would be nice.   13. So I was under the impression that getting your alpha slot up to at least tier 3 gives you a (+1). Then I saw that if you get Judgement up to at least tier 3, you get another +1 level shift (making you 50+2). And again, getting Interface to at least tier 3 will give you your final +1 level shift. Am I totally off?
  14. So I see in pines that I am capable of getting defense up to 63%. Is that a hard cap? Does getting it past 58% a waste because 58% and 63% yield the exact same results?
  15. This looks like an incredibly expensive build with the superior enhancements. Maybe it's just my broke self talking though.
  16. These builds are cool as hell! I may make a really nice speedster build after all with everyone's help! Hopefully this thread will be able to help more than just me. I know the Flash is a very popular hero and I am sure I am not the first to want to create one!
  17. Been messing with Pines, but can't come up with a really solid capped def (and high res) build. I'm simply not good at using that tool honestly. I can't find any guides for WP/Kat tankers, seems strange as it would seem pretty common (to me at least). Thanks guys! Wondering if Divine Avalanche slotting with an extra defense set would make that big a difference or not.
  18. Well, first thing.. I feel kinda dumb because I didn't know there was a run speed cap. Well, now that I know run speed has a cap I can forget about Elec Armor (I only chose that because it had a run speed increase baked into the set). I know it's kind of stupid, but I really wanted to build a character that was the "fastest on the server". Maybe not as strong or hardy as others, but definitely not losing any races.
  19. So I want to be an actual good tank too. But I am willing to sacrifice a lot for the concept of being the fastest man alive. I was thinking electric armor because they have a run speed boost in there (plus from what I hear, it's a good defense). Probably Street Justice to pair with it. Anyway, I was thinking of slotting for additional run speed in super super, but also additional slotting the Swift ability. Looking for someone who has a better grasp at making builds to take crack at this strange request.

  21. Well, not just me. But everyone. It's nice and a lot more clean that way. Think of what if the forums didn't have subforums for AT's. Everyone just post about whatever AT in one single thread, just reply to the post. It would get so convoluted.

I was thinking more of a sub-forum area where people can post profiles of their character and then others can comment on them or even critique (if it is welcomed). And if that thread is proof of anything, it's that people would be happy with a sub-forum area for that.
  23. Right now a lot of people have a tiny little description box in-game to make a backstory. It would be a lot cooler if we had a forum space to post in-depth backstories, pictures and also be able to read other people's creations as well. I think a lot of Roleplayers are using the old Virtueverse website, and while there is nothing wrong with that, I feel the forums make it a lot more user friendly and easy to navigate and even use to create bio's.   24. So I chose Merc as a MM even though I know they are very unpopular due to their damage coming from Smashing Lethal. But they have always been my favorite because I love the sound of a small army of machine guns "brat-tat-tat-tat-tat!". That being said, I am closing in on 50 and have a lot of the end game badge stuff to look forward to. But how do I set up my MM as far as enhancements go? I read something about mercs having a higher base damage-resist so I should try to capitalize on that. I ALWAYS group, so I am not trying to solo anything. I'm just lost and don't know what enhance sets I should use on my Merc / Kin MM. Any help would be appreciated.
