Spellbinder is a great name and he's got a great look. I like the concept of magician, so I may make a point to play mine more often.

We actually did really well on that first run that I was concerned about. Playing a controller has many different layers that I haven't even begun to explore! I was glad to see this theme, because my illusion controller has been stuck in her 20s all these years. She was glad to come out for some exercise.

Dr. Kane's House of Horrors trial - Illusion powersets - Halloween costumes Saturday, November 2, 2024 We had a fantastic end to this year's Halloween event by running multiple trials due to 4-player limit of this trial. We got to see some amazing costumes and smash up many Abominations and hundreds of zombies. Here are some of the best sights from today's festivities! ~ The End ~

This sounds fun! To my recollection, Theme Team has never ever met on a Thursday before! I might still have my Broccoli Casserole recipe costume from a previous U.S. Thanksgiving theme!

It was a really fun month doing Shardtober together. Thank you again for coordinating the whole thing and keeping it going. The November themes look great! Thank you for creating those for us. Looking forward to wrapping up this year's Halloween event next weekend with you all. I have one illusion toon to bring for next week's Kane trial, Winter Mirage - Illusion/Cold Controller. I'll have some other toons parked in Pocket D if we do multiple runs.

Sara Moore TF - All VEATs Saturday, October 12, 2024 Hurricane Milton be damned! The show must go on! Today I was safe back at home with electricity, but no internet. I connected via mobile hotspot which worked fairly well, only some intermittent rubberbanding issues. It's been a stressful and sometimes traumatic couple of weeks with these back-to-back hurricanes, but having little slices of joy to look forward to has really been calming to my brain. Yes, it battered us for hours and hours. Very scary and widespread damage. It made landfall about 60 miles south of where I live as a category 3. I had evacuated about 100 miles inland and got pounded there too but it had weakened to a category 1 by that time. I was in a very secure large hotel structure so I felt safe. And I had my two kids with me, so that is what mattered. ♥

It was crazy scary. In the 32 years I've lived in the Clearwater area, this is the first time any storm of this size was almost surely going to hit the Tampa Bay area. After days of talking with my family to carefully weigh all the choices, we decided to just head more inland about 100 miles to Orlando. Stayed away for 3 days and just made it back yesterday. It was quite the apocalyptic scene getting home. Skirting the trees in the roads and having to treat non-functional traffic lights as 4-way stop signs made a normally 2-hour trip more like a 4-hour trip. Fortunately zero damage to any of our properties. My sister's house is without electricity, as is my daughter's. I do have power so everyone keeps coming here to charge their devices or get ice, water, etc. LOL. I'm so happy to be the provider for everyone. However I don't have internet and may not for a while. I'm connected via mobile hotspot so am going to try to play today if the connection stays solid enough.

Dr. Quaterfield TF - All VEATs Saturday, October 5, 2024 And so we kicked off our all-VEAT Shardtober! With 4 widows and 2 soldiers. Everything was easy and fun and relaxed, despite the tedium! 🤭 @Glacier Peak starts us off with a salutation I didn't bother with costume close-ups today, since there was no specific costume theme. Really fun seeing any Halloween attire though! 👻 That'll teach *you* to run to me in mid-air! ~ The End ~

I'm so glad you are okay. I was thinking of you during the whole catastrophe. I would have written more details except my limited wifi was running out. They gave us 120 free minutes of ship wifi to deal with stuff back home, but you can imagine those minutes went quickly! When I wrote my message I think I was down to TWO minutes left but I felt compelled to let you all know! LOL

Hi Themers.... glad to be making my way back to my Happy Place. It wasn't the greatest being stuck at sea during the devastation happening at home. I had not bought the wifi package this cruise. It was an unfamiliar cruise line to me and crazy expensive so decided to do without. On Tuesday, they announced that we were being rerouted to Bahamas instead of Mexico, and then the danger of Helene became a reality. The next day we got the announcement that Helene would not let us sail up the Gulf on Friday as planned and that Port of Tampa could not accommodate our ship until Sunday. Yikes! Lots of scurrying to contact friends and family at home, to make disaster plans and get stuff secured. Very frightening. Most of us just wanted to be home at that point, but all we could do was make the best of it! Lots more fun was had by all, but mostly with lots more underlying worry and concern. Sunday at Tampa Port was ridiculous. They did not have the means to accommodate 4 ships "lost at sea" just waiting to come home. It took us hours longer than usual to disembark. I finally made it home by early evening, and it's taken me all these days to catch up on household things to finally feel settled enough to come back in game. Very grateful to live on high enough ground to avoid any of the flooding, but neighborhoods and businesses and beaches all around me are just destroyed. The surge of this storm was catastrophic, as I'm sure many of you have seen on reports. So just wanted to check in on a Thursday night and say I'm ba-a-a-ck! Really excited for Halloween event and collecting badges on new characters made this past year. Going to log in to game now and also catch up on forums!

Terra Volta Respec Trial #2 / Harlan - Oktoberfest costumes w/beer powersets! Saturday, September 21, 2024 We went with the 6 who signed up, and we had a blast! Quite literally. Beer blast! 🍺 Wake Monster, corruptor by @FrauleinMental, in only the 'fest finest! @TygerDarkstorm brought another cute canine creation with controller, Captain Barkbeard Beer Goddess, bar-wench sentinel by @Midnyte With a cool story and creative look, Princess of Atlantis, defender by @Purple Enchantress @TrixieKixx brought defender, Kailani Bayou, with her clever apron design! @Burnt Umber brought mastermind, Gekiryu no Oni, in a festively dashing costume! We stayed awash in all the glorious goldens and ambers Cherry Beer Bubbles 😄 He's being swallowed whole by the little-known Beer Shark! Zero defeats! Fun times. ~ The End ~

Karsis trial - Kinetics powersets Saturday, Sept 14, 2024 We had 7 players sign up, and were able to recruit @Purple Enchantress for full team @FrauleinMental led the shebang with brute, Bug Sapper Bourbon Neat, corruptor by @Jaxman100 Our founder, @TraumaTrain with scrapper, Squiggly Marks Controller, Glitched Out, by @TygerDarkstorm Super-Radiance, defender by @Burnt Umber Arctic Swirl, scrapper by @Midnyte @TrixieKixx brought stalker, QT Pie Lost internet for a second, I really need to get a UPS backup! I missed the transport but fortunately was able to log right back in and rejoin! Jumped right into battle after re-joining and did not realize my UI was off. Got some great action shots but nobody is labeled. You know who you are! "Get your filthy paws off me, you damned dirty Pumicite!" Doing his squiggle thing! Lots of swirlin' and squigglin' to take these rock dudes down ~ The End ~
