I think there is someone who RPs as the mayor on Everlasting.

Ok I'm not reading through all this but, I did catch a couple things and these are my thoughts.
Go ahead and raise them to 50 the zones that is.
But, at the same times turn the current ones we have into Echo zones. That way if people still want to do low lvl pvp or lower lvls want nukes/shivans then they can still get them.
Just a thought.

Apparently you have it in your head that there are various "levels" of what is acceptable when in reality none if it is.
If NC gave a shit then they would have done something by know, its not like HC or any of the other servers are a secret. Hell we've been in various gaming news sites multiple times, we are streamed, etc.
I for one would like to see new missions, arcs, contacts, etc breathe new life into this game. It's not like it hasn't been complained about a million times. I just thought this would be a neat way to do it.

They aren't, I can damn near take demons with any secondary and solo just about anything.
Mercs or ninja nope not going to happen. I run a merc/Traps in RWZ, and it's a slog trying to do what necro, bots, or demons can do.( I didn't mention thugs since I have zero experience using them)

I don't know if they adopted them or they were their ideas. But, Jack was Statesman, Matt was Posi, etc. So I figured since they were them then HC devs should do the same.

So back on Live the heroes/villains were the devs. Any thoughts on continuing the lore by introducing your names as a new cadre of heroes/villains?
Obviously Captain Powerhouse would be a Statesman type figure, The Curator as some kind of mystic, Impervium as a power armor or invulnerable hero, etc, etc.
This way it could serve several purposes;
Fresh life into the game.
New arcs, missions, TFs/SFs, etc.
A new lore to follow with the creation of new content that interacts will current lore.
Example, the new Nemesis co-op trial, where all the top heroes/villains are kidnapped to be killed off because, they are obstacles to Nemesis world Domination. The new devs step in as a new super team to stop Nemesis (with of course, us as the players playing the trial) they act as our contacts, cut scene material, etc.
We need the next generation of the heroes/villains, because, face it alot of heroes are dead, the villains are sort of sad (Recluse is boring anymore and how many times can I beat Reichsmans nazi ass).
While ASF did breath life into the Goldbrickers it was more like a limited comic series, instead of a build up of multiple titles over a years time leading to Secret Wars (for example). This could be the tie in to greater things aka Mot, Rularuu, Praetorian Hami, or a totally new big bad.
I think since the Rikti War, Who will die, etc there have been no fresh bodies to replace the losses in Paragon. Just like the rise of Batman, new villains need to rise up to challenge them (which I happily submit my application as a villain).

Frankly they should just remove the badges from pvp zones. The constant whining is annoying after a decade+.
But, you want shivans, nukes, etc risk vs reward although they should be buffed. P2W temp powers, Incarnate abilities, etc are more powerful. If there is a likelihood that you could get "ganked" then the pvp powers should be so powerful like bringing Superman to rescue a cat kind of overpowered.

If it was a perfect system with new players, I'd say complete a series of tasks that could be checked off.
Like the University IO tutorial, the Cape mission, maybe an expansion of the combat system, RP, travel, base building, AE tutorials, pvp, etc, etc, etc. Each of these could be trees that further delve into the mechanics of whatever you're interested in, with some being bonus ones (cape mission). So it's not just a grind to learn things but, what may interest you or the path your toon with travel.
New missions and new contacts to unlock everything with a leveling and progression system until 20 then you're free to do whatever, level however, etc this stuff would be unlocked per global not per character.
Just an idea.

If that was the case we would see it now. As I regularly get badges, Shivans, hang out in pvp zones, etc and I never see anyone.
BUT, if you're talking PVErs trying PVP who are ganking PVErs who aren't...well wouldn't that be something 🤔.

The stockpiled threads is what annoys me. Couldn't they be converted into merits? Since really they serve no point after awhile, you still stockpile them, and you can't email them either. Is this feasible?

This just shows you how much of a farm n00b I am. Didn't even know you could do it. *shrug*
I use my emp merits to build my toons up, never even knew about the conversion.
So this doesn't affect me in the least, now I get merits if I ever decide to do itrials AND I get vet rewards back.
I'm a happy boy right now.

I would really like a new mm set...maybe 3 ghosts -to hit like CoT, 2 Poltergeists, which are like weaker Singularity, and then Banshee with sonic attacks.

He was a great actor, I first saw him in Time after Time as Jack the Ripper opposite Malcolm McDowell as H.G. Wells.
I also really like him in the Lovecraftian "To Cast a Deadly Spell" in which he played Amos Hacksaw opposite Fred Ward (RIP) as H. P. Lovecraft.
He had a voice and way as most great English actors do. RIP
