If so, would it not be more accurate for a ice power to create cold or ice by "pulling", parasitically drawing heat from the intended target? In essence a ice blaster would be a living, overpowered heat sink. Of course, this could cause issues if there was no easy way to dispel the received heat. An ice/fire blaster would be one solution.
This is not to say that a technological solution could not push a stored, frozen mixture out. My fall in front of a snow-blower on the ski slopes taught me that much.
Thoughts?I had a character called Thermocouple back on live. Fire and ice-ice, baby.

Have no desire to lower the amount of players I represent as I enjoy feeling all uber and taking on numerous foes regardless if I am level 50 or level 7. I do run this, repeatedly 😐 lol, as a flashback and solo for the most part.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
if you are going to run it solo, a stormy is the way to go.
Just guard the portal with hurricane and fight the waves as they come to you.
It's football/soccer goal defense mission.
If you are on a team, I've seen some teams send out half to fight mobs and the other half stays and defends the portals.
I've seen some teams leave a couple at the portal and send three out each pathway to lure groups back to their side and fight them from along their choice of the two paths to protect.
It's really a team mission and not a solo mission.
But if they are too much for you and/or you just can't be as Uber as you want to be, sometimes we need to accept our shortcomings.

Is this about actual players?
You can be the judge of that ....

Villains are always complaining, whining, and putting down heroes.
I wonder why that is.
They can't seem to get teams together.
They don't want helpful ideas so they can get teams together.
They like to complain and put down other people all the time.
They dis on heroes because they want to be a popular as heroes.
Heroes rock.
Villains complain.

A level up indicator that tells me how much this character is ready to level up is far more useful to me, and I would think to you as well.
If that is good for you great.
I only need the arrow there pointing up to let me know that a character needs to level up so that I can flip through the character selection screen and log into a character that still needs to be leveled up from the last time that I played them.
Level up once, level up twice, four times? Makes no difference. I just would like to be able to tell from the character selection screen if I forgot to level up a character before parking them.

Here is the "problem" though.
There is no "problem".
I'm asking for something that would help me and it could help others as well.
You have already indicated that you don't want it.
That's fine. YOU don't want it. Let other people post if THEY don't want it.

Maybe I should stop selling enhancements already.
Maybe you should go into the inspiration market?

I honestly don't see a reason to. It is apparent when the character logs in. And leveling up prior to log off would prevent it anyway.
I understand why someone people won't find it useful.
I would be useful the the players - needless to say - like myself, that either alt jump a lot (to which up to join a team doing a task force or missions with another character on the spur of the moment) and/or forget or don't have time to level before logging out.
Would it be useful to everyone all the time? No.
Would it be useful to some of us some of the time? Yes.
The same can be said about many aspects and options of the game.

So I keep reading at top lvl you can balance out blasters lack of mez protection with IO and incarnates.
If you have a power that you can slot resistance sets in an Aegis: Psionics/Status Resistance helps a bit.
I always carry 1 column of break frees.

I'm assuming that the character selection screen can only pull limited information from the servers and that the rest of the information is sent as the character is logging-in.
It would be cool if there as an indicator on the character selection screen indicated if a character needed to level up.

I mean, so yeah, sometimes she spent a bit of time red side for a TF or something, but usually she was blue. And often going Full Auto on a crowd of foes.

Not even Gene Autry could be "shooting the gun out of their hand" with Full Auto.
Audie Murphy can do it. Watch those guns fly out of their hands!

Personally, I much prefer it when folks type actual words. Numbers don't belong in the middle of words. They just don't. They never have.
Tell it to the Fr3aksH0w!
