  1. it may not be that simple as we think, sure its a coop zone, but newspaper/radio arent made for that "Yet".

The limit is that only vigilante/rogue can do both, a hero would have no access to a newspaper mish, if he even can join that in a coop zone i dont know, maybe thats the reason no coop zone so far has them? RWZ/DA/Pocket D and so on.

They probably would have to change that System 1st.

Also you would have to add detectives/brokers there so progress does not get wasted but that should be the least problem ^^

I was running the Trading Places arc when I got to mission three on the King's Row map. Somehow I was getting the walk up greetings from the new hologram vendors during the mission. I could not locate where it was coming from but it kept appearing at intervals. I did have a screenshot but it removed the UI when I took it so it doesn't show me getting the NPC text. Not a huge bug but definitely weird.

  3. Just to clarify its a pbaoe power that means it has to hit something to fully work.

Was foes in melee range as u activated and did u hit some of them, the amount of defense is based on how many u hit, with the biggest amount from the 1st (from HC Wiki).

  4. Its more which henchmen u got, my robots attack all doors no problem, but my beasts on the other hand...... robots ignore door if they have no direct attack line like are around the corner.

It seems they miss the "move in range to attack" command on these doors, thus henchmen with ranged attacks will do those  as long they have a attack line of sight(albeit with ninja as example lower damage).

My solution is give them the go to location command 1st, place them right in front of door and then the attack command, has so far worked 100% on all henchmen.

Just for my own edification, is there some functional reason why someone would want a specific detective?  Or is this for RP reasons?

its just for convienience... some detectives are bad placed.... the worst example is just kings row... while detective Friday is super easy accessible at door of police station, for becktrees you not only have to go inside but even navigate through it to backside... nearly close to other end of it.. yes it only a few yards.. but still.

Until it gets changed to be more convenient, I'd suggest logging out next to the indoor detective and logging back in again until you get the other one. Takes less time than zoning and returning for every attempt.

didnt know that would work... okay doing it that way next time. Thanks 🙂

  7. 1st to say i am thankfull that we have this option at all, but the current mechanic although its basically working as intended i consider it buggy.

Supposedly u go to detective u dont like.. dismiss him and rezone to get a new one.

So far the mechanic is working as intended but here comes the broken part... it is RANDOM which one u get after rezoning.

I had 4 Times in a row getting the damn by mostly not wanted Becktrees in Kings Row just now.

4 Times going forth and back to pocket d (that is the closest rezoning point in kings) to get finally the wanted Freitag one.

That way its just an lame and annyoing function, if the mechanic cant basically be fully chaned.. can it at least be fixed to not give the same detective again which u just dismissed? Or if it cant changed at all.. give us at least a rezoning point straight at police stations.

    👍

    From the HC Wiki:

This badge is only awarded to characters of the hero or vigilante alignments. Although credit for this badge may be earned by villains or rogues, the badge will not be awarded to a character until they change alignment.

Hm i wonder if Wiki is correct there, i know a rogue surely can get credit but how would a villain get to that zone.. have they added a transportation method to shadow shard for them that i dont know?

Aside from the ambush in Perez Park, any member of the team should have no problem with defeating 10 "native level" CoT. A petless mastermind could do it with a couple of applications of Plasmatic Taser.

Frankly, the only time I ever saw a PUGmate "camp" in either Talos or FF, that player explicitly said they needed to level up and opted to do it there. While I may miss their help, this isn't a TF that is worth having the entire team move together from zone-to-zone. I can remember this happening only three times. I have two very minor points of irritation with Numina TF (in the revamped Paragon City):

    • Revamped Zones (Boomtown, Faultline) need players who know where to go in the zone to find those targets. Vahz in Faultline are slightly more scattered, but the Council Base should make the Boomtown leg VERY fast. I think I was on at least one PUG where a Super-Speeder went to Terra Volta and (literally) got in over his head when hunting Sky Raiders... because of Zone geography and typical spawn points.
    • Crey's Folly target of Freakshow can be slow if the non-DPS PUGmates go there. The nearest (to SG Portal) reliable group of Freaks are close to even level with the TF, and with the resists, Health and healing... let's just say this is the leg that I often see turn into a slog.

It is exceedingly rare that I'm on a PUG where an individual player calls out a zone and then doesn't know where to find the targets. Earlier in Homecoming, I used to see this sort of problem in Atlas Park (Clockwork)... In my mind I guessed this was because so many people "DfB" out of Atlas Park and may never come across them, but for a long time now if I'm not the first one in Atlas Park the PUGmate who beat me there knows where to find them.

Personally: I quite enjoy the spiraling "grand tour" aspect of the Numina TF.

Well Atlas depends in which Phase you are, mobs have different places then.

  10. Just to show the other way around, we started an ITF yesterday on +4 (at lvl 50) , chugged along get annoyed by Romans defensive overpower finished 1st mission, we agreed to lower it to+2 for 2nd mission, and ran 3rd and 4th mission at +1.

Did we have to, no we managed to finish the +4 mission, was it fun.. nah it felt like to slow,... the later missions were fun... we was joking in chat about it, made fun etc.. so in summary we just had a good time. And basically that's what a game should be about.

Its all in the Eye of the Viewer.

Uhm... though I've never had to try it, I think if people used the Self-Destruct power at the wall as a last resort instead of calling a gm I think it could work. 😞  It's only 100k at he P2W vendor so affordable to everyone really. 😞

tried that with blaster Nukes (basically the energy and fire blaster nuke use the same mechanic) and it is not guaranteed to work, if the angle is not correct the damage wont reach the target and goes wasted too.

The Last few weeks I've noticed only getting one Enhancement drop, in TF at the end of the TF. Non in the missions for the TF at all

Ive tryed it it on many diffrent level Tf and had same result.  Anyone  Else noticed this!

Additional to what AboveTheChemist already said the one drop u got is for defeating AV, the Rule you get an SO from defeating an AV bypasses the Rule for getting no Enhancement while exemplared, how many depends how many AV u focus in that TF, for Manticore TF it can be 3.

Try reading the post.  As I said in the original post, I do that.  A LOT.  But often even then I can't get the difficulty I want to because of the stupid difficulty bug.

That may be a server issue.. on Reunion we mostly respect the leader has too zone in 1st rule unless before we enter a mission , unless its a +0 anyway, especially when he asks for us to wit for him.

That would really depend on the rarity of the group. I don't know what a gorn on nimbus is, but aside from the frequency with which RNGesus decides to not spawn Carnies or Malta when a contact hands me a street sweep 50 mission in PI (only for the mobs to show up when I'm not trying to find them because I'm on a different character), most factions are pretty easy to find in their respective zones.

The reason that they are there is cause no one cares about em, i remember different times on live when u had hard times finding Tsoo as example in Steel Canyon for the Tailor mission cause many did street hunt.

Nimbus is the World from Star Trek V Movie , the world of peace ^^.

And Gorns are a reptilian race Kirk fought in a classic Episode.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorn

And it could cause Problems with the Numina Hunts too.

I want to increase the incentive to street sweep in this game. I suggest adding a daily defeat reward challenge, much like the weekly strike target for TFs/SFs. It would work like this:

Defeat [Insert Unique Daily Mob Type (i.e., 100 minions or 50 LTs, or 25 Bosses, 1 GM]" and be rewarded with [Insert equitable reward table options].

Mob types would change daily (i.e., Cimerorans, Council, Hydra, Arachnos, Nemesis, Longbow, Resistances, etc.).

I am open to suggestions or feedback on what type of reward table would be appropriate given this daily reward structure.

Problem with this is respawn rate , i see similar in star trek online when i have as example to hunt gorn on nimbus as daily task.....

Every time at least a dozen other players is trying to do the same and the ending is we fighting over 1st kill of the NPC's and thus ist takes way longer then necessary.

Sure our Playerbase have partially a different mentality and not the high amount of player, but then theres the thread about someone wanted to join somebody who was doing troll rave and got ignored.

As good the idea basically is... People will ruin it and thus it will be abandoned in the end.
