Oh boy, that final fight in Ready Player One combined with all Might The CoX Chars could have blown into IOI, would have raised it from Epic to Legendary 😉 .
Just imagined Mechagodzilla in Fight with 3 Stone Tankers (someone say Jurassik) and then got hit instantly with a dozen Nukes from Blaster /Sentinel... + Sniper Attacks.. would have blown the Screen apart ^^

Exactly and this is probably the reason the OP didnt get an answer, for an Master of run as leader u supposedly await ppl to participate that know it basically and only have to explain what is special for Master to do.
Im sure the OP would have gotten an answer and Invite if it wouldnt have been a Master run.

But they could have put it in as a grinder intentionally to eat up time until the game expanded more.
You got me a bit wrong there , at that point in time (before Issue 1 hit).. it was basically a say goodbye tour to that char u played to let him relive evrything he should have seen.. not the game itself... the char was done u couldnt do much to develop him farther beside respeccing him and divide slots differently.
1. 40 was max.. no xp beyond like now on HC past 50
2. No badges existed, that why i mostly didnt do any TF at that point beside just once to see what was in it
3. no IOs existed, Single Origin was the best u could get so no need to get much inf either.
4. exemplar and sking didnt work like now.. u had to have someone in range to actively mentor or exemplar you (that why as soon u hit lvl 37 back in those times u got flooded by tells that u babysit a friend of the xp farmer and mentor him and later after lvl was raised to 50 at 47 of course)
5. no Ouro, no Radio, no tips... after u was done with the contacts of the lvl 35-40 range u couldnt get anything yourself, beside maybe pvp zone mission if they existed back then.. not sure about that, basically for anything beside street sweep u had to team up.
6. no AE either of course
7. no Incarnate stuff of course, im sure u would have guessed that by now.. just to mention it
Naturally they had plans to expand it.. evryone that publish Online Games does, thats why u didnt delete the char but park him to see what has to come and o boy did they deliver, or we wouldnt play it still.. isnt it 😉

city of heroes has actually 60% cause theres another line with 5% of "different city of heroes rogue server"
Its not Homecoming but still our Favorite Game 🙂 .

Happened to me on Live as well, but cant remember offhand how i solved it, either by /stuck and got kicked to the Ouro drop off point in PI, or by Reloading, but nvr needed more then a few secs to fix it.

Some of the Task forces were a tour of the City.
I believe he means Numina TF mainly, in this TF you have many many Hunts and for most of em u get zero XP cause theyre just grey, only the last 2 Hunts in Founders/Eden can grant XP's.
And yes its a tour through the whole city that existed when Numina TF was Created for Launch and Maximum Level was 40 so basically a goodbye tour, that is the reason Croatoa as example is not part of it or Striga/Hollows, Peregrine Island....

sometimes laptop manufactures issue drivers modified from originals.. check on laptop manufactur site if he has different driver or if he links to nvidia... if nothing helps (biostems advices about the errorcode) then maybe u have the rare issue that the card chip on the board is truly defective.. hopefully u still have warranty on it to get it replaced.

There is no fixed limit for it but id say someone in the upper 2 digits amount of chars numberwise is clearly an altaholic, i for sure am one, i am up to 3 digits back on live and now on HC already 🙂 .

Well before it went to Ouro u had to be in Zone of Contact for it to start, so it was out of Question anyways.
And that Hero Alignment cant do anything related to Redside, is known since we had the "Going Rogue" Expansion.
1. This can cause many many issues.. if u accidentally choose the Wrong Alignment u get kicked out of the TF/SF, so rather not open that
2. Yeah why not
For sure its not in the area for Bug Hunter reward.

I know its not a perfect world, but sometimes clues dont get to that extra Window (as by Name they should) but rather just only updating the Full Mission Text u can open by Clicking on the red big I in Mission Window.
Had that many times on old Storyarcs that was from launch of Game. In some cases they did even both, giving different Clues for the Mission Briefing and for the Clues Window.
So i had grown the habit back then to check both if id rather wanted to know the background instead of just Bam Bam Mission done 😉.

Pocket D upper area for sure counts as such (it has a bartender), if Pocket D counts as "in" Paragon City is debateable though 😉 .

In addition if u run the "catalyst control center" or however its named today control program for the AMD u need to change it there maybe too, for nvidia under win10 it was the case the least.

so CoH still want to launch with the wrong Graphic Card which has probably still no OpenGL Drivers. (intel instead of the AMD one)
Did u do what Apparition suggested earlier in this thread?

Well OpenGL need to be installed too, since CoX runs on an OpenGL Engine,
theres Threads about it in forum, here's one for Intel other Graphic Card but similar issues.

i would'nt recommend Method 1 here though

Since i didnt see major issues on Launcher.....
A quick search via Google seems to reveal that its probably a Problem related to ATI Video Cards.. so has your comp or Notebook a Graphic Card from ATI and maybe only Widnows installed drivers?
If thats the Case u may want to install Graphic Drivers from ATi, since i have for over 10 years only used NVdia GFX (or Intel if a Notebook) i let the more Ati Knowledgeable ppl chime in here.

the 1st info the team would need would be which Launcher u are using... Tequila or the HC Launcher? A Logfile would probably help them too.

Waaaait a minute,.. Notebook....
Well many notebook have special commands to activate the weirdest stuff.. and "alt" is one of they keys to activate em, let him try alt+esc, its the same as alt+tab but the reverse order of windows that get activated. also try if going to windows using the windows key may change it and use mouse to back to coh window avoiding keyboard to task switch altogether.. just for a try.
Tried a USB Keyboard with it?
And of course since mouse has some functions as Peregrine said already, be sure he has the integrated mousepad deactivated... this cause often issues and unwanted responses since these things are sometimes way to sensitive.
Also did he try windowed mode... seen some issues in this forum running coh in fullscreen mode...

The basic underline Problem is that u move the foes out of damage zone of other Players , but this does not go only for KB.
Since the change i cursed many times to myself on Teammates using Fold Space unannounced and thus negating my Debuff (Tar Patch or Quicksand as example) or area placed aoe damage (rain of arrows could be named as example here).
On the Contrary i saw it brought to good use too, like a 2nd mob got aggroed unwanted and they TP that Mob to Tanks location (a great way to use it).
What could i do.
1. Blame em over Team Chat for a Power they did choose for themselves
2. Leave the Team (hence its a TF i choose to get the Badge at the End)
3. Accept the fact, swallow up what bothers me let evryone use their powers they choose as they will and fight on.
So i choose to do the Point 3, just with the slight change that i use my powers, that go wasted with this team, not as much anymore.. will the fight take longer, maybe, but its just how it is.

But what exactly did u mean with this: "Toon or Character" basically that equals the Kheldian/Villain Epic, just that theyre an different AT too, since that would be a playable character (character slots on server as example).
