  4. In Page 3, the P2W double XP booster was giving triple XP. In Page 4 it now gives double XP. That's why powerveleing takes 33% longer now. It wasn't a nerf (nerfs are due to balance), it was a bugfix. (It was called "double" xp but was giving triple.) With that said, I don't think the old triple xp booster was a bad thing, just named incorrectly. So I'd be up for a triple XP booster being added to the P2W.

Added a 5 min AFK farm to the OP, as well a a rough figure of how much influence you should be earning with these. @Ukase You might be able to get by AFK farming with just the surival amp, and not bother with the +HP accolades. I haven't tried this so I can't say for sure. Alternatively, try the attached stone/rad tank. It can AFK farm without accolades. However, it earns 2.8mil per 5 minute map vs the rad/fire brute's 4.2mil. rad stone afk tank tp.mxd
  8. **FEBRUARY 2023 SMASHING/LETHAL UPDATE** Okay, so after a bunch of testing, the best active farmer is a Rad/MA Tank, and the best AFK farmer is an Elec/Rad Tank. This means that smashing/lethal farming is now better than fire farming. (The difference isn't huge. It's probably not worth switching over from fire farming for most people.) I've posted the guide/builds/maps in this post here: Even though Smashing/Lethal farming is better, Fire Farming is still good. The rest of this post will explain how to fire farm with a rad/fire brute. (For those of you who don't want to switch over.) ***How To Fire Farm in Page 5*** ACTIVE FARMING Build: For Active Farming (i.e. you at your computer actively playing) use the attached build called "AA_ACTIVE_Page4" (All the incarnates in the build are required. Alpha slot being T3 most of all...as this will stop you getting knocked down.) Map: #41794. Settings: +4/8 Difficulty AVs set to on. (This will keep the helper alive.) How to Play: Empty slot in burn is for the perfect zinger proc. Just spam your AoEs and everything will die. There's a helper in the map who will summon phantom army's to help you bunch up the mobs. (You can do the same with your banished pantheon lore pet. Although I'd reccomend saving the lore pet for when the helper NPC spawns too far away from the centre of the map.) You'll want to pick up the Increased Attack Rate base buff and Offense Amplifier P2W buff. AFK FARMING Build: For AFK farming use the attached build called "AA_AFK_Page5" (All the incarnates in the build are required. Alpha slot being at least T3 most of all...as this will stop you getting knocked down.) Map: For 5 min AFK farming use map #51289 For 10 Min AFK farming use map #38973 Settings: +4/8 Difficulty How to play: Jump into middle of map. Hit assault hybrid +ageless as you leap. Put Atom Smasher on auto. Come back every 5/10 mins to reset. You will need the +HP and +end accolades, or the Survival Amplifier from P2W. TRIPLE-BOX FARMING OPTIMAL SETUPS: 3x AFK farmers resetting every 5/10 mins = ~80 million inf per hour 1 x active farmer resetting every 3 mins + 2 x AFK farmers resetting every 5 mins = ~150 million inf per hour MAKING YOUR OWN FARM Not a fan of the meteor map?   10. Who are you talking to right now? Who is it you think you see? Do you know how much I make a year? I mean, even if I told you, you wouldn't believe it. Do you know what would happen if I suddenly decided to stop farming? A supergroup big enough that it could be its own server goes belly up. Disappears! It ceases to exist without me. No, you clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not a drop in the ocean, Yomoler. I am the ocean. A player makes 1mil a minute with a "farm fresh" build and you think that of me? No. I am the one who procs!
  11. I'm freelance. So my life is a neverending "week" of brain fog and deadlines and mathfails. A billion in five hours should be possible, though. A decent active farming rad/fire can clear an asteroid map in 3 minutes. So that's 5.8 every 3 mins. Or 116mil per hour. An AFK Farmer rad/fire pulls in 4.2-4.4 million per map. They can do 12 in an hour. So that's ~52.8mil each, for a total of ~105.6mil per hour. Add those together and you get ~221.6mil per hour. So in five hours you'd be looking at ~1.1bil inf. Realistically it'd be slightly lower than that due to load times and resets. (Plus, active farmers clearing every 3 mins and AFKers clearing every 5 mins means either your active farmer or AFK farmers aren't running at 100%). Lore will speed up the active some, but not enough to completely offset this. But overall I'd be confidant in saying a player can earn around 1 bil in 5 hours of farming using this pretty common 1 active + 2 AFK method.
  12. Golden rule of correcting someone's math online, you will do it wrong. (As both you and I have just shown, @Neiska) Here's the revised: (8,285,670/224) x 60 = ~2.22m inf per minute.
  13. I know these aren't your numbers, but just a heads up - the calculation is wrong because it's treating minutes as 100seconds rather than 60. The correct calculation would be: (inf gained / time to clear in seconds) x 60 = million inf per minute So: (8,285,670 / 244) x 60 = 2.04 million inf per minute (8,285,670 / 224) x 60 = 2.22 million inf per minute So it works out less than farming with brutes. However, farming with an army of robots versus an army of mobs sounds like a lot of fun so it's probably worth it!

  19. Assuming it takes about 3 minutes to convert a row of IOs into something sellable with converters. You're looking at 20 mins for the TFs and 6 mins for the two rows. So assuming that 60million figure is right, you're looking at 60/26 = 2.3m per minute. Add in two other accounts AFK farming, and the total becomes 4.06m per minute. Which is about on par with the 4.35m/minute (3x active farmers) and 4.18m/minute (1xactive+2xAFK farmers). Interesting numbers. Of course they don't factor in the inf cost and time cost of getting the IOs to convert. But still...interesting.
  20. I don't break the ToS. (And I go out of my way to not explain how other people do. As I don't want to encourage that sort of thing.) However, I am aware of what can be earnt in game by those who do break the ToS, because my AFK farmer makes 4.4 million influence per 5 min AFK farm map. And it isn't especially difficult to extrapolate from there. None of this is has anything to do with the numbers I've posted in this thread, though.
  21. I already did this when I said: It's based on Speed runners earning 40 merits in a 10 minute TF. It's actually going to be slightly lower than that due to the time it takes to use 120 converters in-game. (I.e. you'd need to add the time it takes a top end marketeer to use up 120 converters, and add that to the TF completion time.)

  23. Updated my post above. Turns out Beta and Live are the same AFK. (The revised live numbers are based on the attached AFK build running map #46816.) When looking at rewards, I tend to judge them via optimal play. Obviously players are free to farm/play inefficiently, but that doesn't mean much from a rewards-balancing standpoint. With that said, personally I've got no problem with AE being significantly better for rewards than the highest rewarding regular content (Tinpex). CoH is an old game. The appeal to me is playing with fully kitted-out characters, not earning those fully kitted out characters. But that's just me. afk Rad Fire.mxd
